Badminton academies · Social media

Post what happens on the court so parents and players can picture joining in.

Social media for a badminton academy is the stream of short clips, photographs and notices that tell a family what a session looks like before they visit. It also keeps current players talking to each other. GullySales plans what to post and handles the consent, the captions and the replies to enquiries that arrive as comments.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

A badminton academy manager discusses court bookings with a visitor

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For badminton academies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A parent wants to see a session, not a slogan”

A clip of a warm-up drill, a coach correcting a grip and the shuttle rally at the end tells a parent more than a caption about excellence. Footage that shows the batch size and the floor answers questions nobody has to ask.

  • “Children appear in the content, so consent comes first”

Every photograph or video of a child needs the parent's written consent, stating where it will be used. Without it, the post is a risk, however good the shot. A simple form at enrolment solves the problem for the whole year.

  • “Tournament news is the strongest post for serious families”

A player entering a district event, with family agreement, tells the right parents there is a pathway. Posting the draw, the result and the coach's note shows the programme exists without a claim about outcomes.

  • “Comments and messages are enquiries”

A parent asks the timing under a post, and the reply arrives two days later from someone off the court. By then, another academy answered. Social channels need the same owner and log as the phone.

What we do

What we deliver for badminton academies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A content plan built on the court calendar

Posts planned around batches, tournaments, camps and quiet hours, so what is posted is what the academy needs filled.

Result: Posts support the hours you want booked.

  2. A consent form and photo log

A one-page form at enrolment and a record of which child may appear where.

Result: You know what you may post.

  3. Short-clip shot list

A list of clips to film on a normal session: drills, rallies, kit checks and the court view, each with a caption.

Result: Filming takes no extra time.

  4. Comment and message routing

A rule for who answers comments and direct messages, with the replies logged as enquiries.

Result: No social enquiry is lost.

  5. Tournament post template

A simple layout for announcing entries and results, with a space for the family's agreement.

Result: Results are shared without overclaiming.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which platform should we use first?
Start with the one your parents already use to reach you, such as Instagram or WhatsApp status. Add a second only when the first has an owner and a routine.
Can we post a child's tournament win?
Only with the family's consent, and without comparisons or claims about the academy's results. State the event and the result as it happened. Check any sports body's rules about publicising young players.
Do we need to run paid posts?
Not to begin. Paid posts make sense for a camp or a new batch with a defined date and a set number of places. Test with a small budget and check the enquiry log before spending more.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
