Engineering colleges · Education
Answer the family's real question: which branch is open at this rank.
A student with a mid-range CET rank sits with a parent and a printed list of colleges. The student wants computer science, but the rank falls short of it at the colleges the family likes.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph
An engineering college offers BE or B.Tech programmes across branches such as computer science, electronics, mechanical and civil. Engineering college marketing reaches students and parents when they compare branches and colleges after entrance results. Admissions sales turns a rank into a seat. GullySales prepares branch-level pages, the enquiry record and the quota-enquiry route for the admissions office.
The parent wonders whether electronics with a good placement record is a safer bet. Six tabs are open. Two WhatsApp groups of other parents keep pinging, and a counselling helpline has sent a list of phone numbers.
The question is not which college is best. Which branch at which college is possible for this rank and this budget? And can the college show what its graduates of that branch actually go on to do? The page that answers it branch by branch is the one the parent forwards to the family group.

How buyers decide
How engineering colleges are chosen.
Admission comes through state entrance counselling, a national entrance exam, a private entrance test or management quota, and each has its own dates and rules that change by year and state. Families draw up a list from the previous year's cut-offs and then compare colleges by branch, fee, hostel and distance. Management and NRI quota seats mean a private conversation with the college's admission office.
Every college cites placement, so parents ask which companies visit, for which branch, and what happens to students who are not placed. Accreditation, faculty, labs and industry tie-ups matter, but each only as far as the family can see proof.
Students from other states or small towns add a hostel and safety question to the list. Lateral-entry diploma holders form a separate group with their own questions about credits and the second-year start. Each of these buyers needs its own page and its own contact person.
The problem
What usually goes wrong for engineering colleges.
What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.
“Parents ask for placements by branch, and we show one number”
A single package and a single percentage hide the fact that mechanical and computer science have very different histories.
“Counselling-round calls come in a rush”
Families call in a rush around seat allotment, and the office has no list of missed calls to work through.
“Management quota enquiries are handled informally”
A parent asks a relative who knows someone at the college, and we only learn of it when the family has chosen elsewhere.
“Our faculty and labs are invisible online”
Parents cannot see the labs, the research output or the industry projects, so they assume there are none.
“Lateral entry students are an afterthought”
Diploma holders find no page that explains eligibility, credits and the second-year start.
“Recruiters know us poorly”
The training and placement office visits the same companies, and the record of who was met and what they asked sits in individual phones.
What we do
What we do for engineering colleges.
Everything included for engineering colleges.
A page for each branch
Branch pages that cover the syllabus, the labs, the faculty, the projects and the placement record for that branch, with the year each figure refers to.
A counselling-round response desk
A rota, saved answers and a record for the days around allotment, with a missed-call list and a next step written for each family.
A management and NRI quota process
A written route for these enquiries, with one named person, a consistent explanation of documents and the fees the state allows, and a record of every conversation.
A placement transparency page
A clear table of recruiters, offers and students placed, by branch and year, built from the training and placement office's own records.
A lateral entry guide
Eligibility, documents, credit transfer and the second-year start, set out for diploma holders and their polytechnic lecturers.
How the result is measured
- Enquiries by branch and by source
- Counselling-round missed calls logged and returned
- Visits against enquiries by branch
- Admissions confirmed by quota and branch
- Lateral entry applications from polytechnics
- Recruiters on the contact sheet against recruiters who visited
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
Every service, written for engineering colleges
Each has its own page: what it involves for engineering colleges, what you get, and what it is measured on.
- Lead generationCollect enquiries branch by branch, not one general admissions form.
- SEORank the branch page that answers what a family is searching for.
- Local SEOMake the campus easy to find, reach and visit from a family's phone.
- Social media marketingShow the lab where a branch is taught, and let parents see it.
- Content marketingAnswer the questions families ask before they ever call the office.
- Buyer personasWrite down who decides: the student, the parent or the coaching teacher.
- CRMKeep one record per family, from first call to confirmed seat.
- Follow-up systemsNo enquiry should wait for a call that nobody knows is due.
- WhatsApp marketingMeet parents where they already ask: the family WhatsApp chat.
- Digital marketingPlan every channel around the admission year, not around the platform.
- WebsitesBuild a site where each branch, fee and quota question has its own page.
Worth a page and a campaign of their own
First-year BE and B.Tech admissions through counselling · Management quota and NRI quota enquiries · Lateral entry for diploma holders · Branch-wise pages for computer science, electronics, mechanical and civil · Hostel and outstation admissions · Scholarship and fee waiver enquiries · Placement and internship reporting by branch · Recruiter and industry partnership outreach · Parent orientation before counselling
Priority campaigns
Campaigns for what engineering colleges most want to sell.
Each one planned around when your buyers decide, and measured against the baseline.
Entrance result and counselling campaign
Search and social campaigns timed to entrance results and counselling, aimed at rank bands and branches with a call or visit as the next step.
Branch showcase series
Short films and posts from each department showing a lab, a student project and a faculty member, with consent.
Polytechnic and diploma outreach
Visits and handouts for polytechnic lecturers and final-year diploma students on lateral entry.
Parent webinar before counselling
A session for parents on branches, accreditation, fees and how to read placement claims, with questions taken live.
Beyond search
Where we reach buyers of engineering colleges, beyond Google.
Search matters, but it is rarely the only way this industry's buyers find a supplier.
Coaching centres and PU college counsellors
Entrance coaching centres and PU counsellors tell families which colleges to apply to. A list of them is made, with an introduction and the branch-wise cut-off history you choose to share.
Polytechnic principals and lecturers
A final-year diploma student asks a lecturer where lateral entry is possible. Lecturers and principals of nearby polytechnics get the lateral entry guide.
Alumni in industry
A graduate working at a software or manufacturing firm can introduce the training and placement officer. A list of alumni by employer and a request message are prepared.
Recruiters and HR teams
HR teams are asked for visits and internships. A sheet records each company, the contact, the branches it hires and what was agreed.
Education fairs and admission helplines
A stall at an education fair collects names on loose sheets. A sign-in form and a call list are prepared so that each name is recorded against the branch asked about.
Who it is for
This is written for these engineering colleges.
- Private engineering colleges admitting through state counselling
- Autonomous engineering colleges with their own curricula
- Colleges affiliated to a technological university
- Colleges offering management and NRI quota seats
- Women's engineering colleges
- Colleges with strong computer science and AI branches
- Colleges with core branches such as civil and mechanical
- Polytechnic-linked colleges taking lateral entry students
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
- You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
- You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.
How it works
From your first message to the first report.
No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.
First
Your brief
You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.
After the brief
A conversation and a written scope
We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.
Before work starts
Baseline recorded
The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.
After the baseline
The first fix goes live
The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.
As agreed
Report against the baseline
What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.
At renewal
Renew on the numbers
The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
One office, and we say so
Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Engagement options
Ways to work with us.
Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.
Option 1
The conversation on its own
A call after you send your brief. It says honestly whether you need outside help, and many fixes are ones your own team can make.
Option 2
One fix, scoped
Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.
Option 3
An ongoing programme
We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.
Option 4
Guidance for your own team or agency
We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.
Your brief
Tell us what you need, and we will read it before we call.
Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.
