Medical colleges · Social media

Post what a family wants to see: the wards, the hostel and the answer to the fee question.

Social media for a medical college means using Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and LinkedIn to show campus life, student activities and admission facts to families and young doctors. GullySales works on the plan for what is posted, who approves it, and how comments and messages are answered.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For medical colleges

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Parents read the page that students ignore”

A student follows the college for campus life. The parent checks the same page for something different: whether the college looks organised and states its facts plainly. One page serves two readers, so posts need both energy and reassurance.

  • “A student's face on a post needs written consent”

Students, interns and faculty appear in photographs and films. The college holds a signed consent for each, covering where the picture will be used. Pictures with patients or identifiable ward scenes stay out of every post.

  • “A false fee message spreads further than a correction”

A forwarded image of fees circulates in parents' groups. A standing, dated fact post pinned on the college page gives the admissions team something to point to, instead of drafting a fresh reply each time.

  • “Comments are an enquiry channel”

A parent comments asking about hostel food or the stipend. If nobody answers, the question stays visible to every other parent. Someone must own the comments and pass genuine enquiries to the admissions desk with a note.

What we do

What we deliver for medical colleges.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A platform plan

A decision on which platform serves which reader: Instagram and YouTube for students, Facebook for parents, LinkedIn for doctors and alumni.

Result: Each platform has a stated reader and a named owner.

  2. A content approval route

A written path from draft to the dean's approval for anything on fees, recognition or the hospital, and a lighter route for campus events.

Result: Each post on fees carries an approver's name in the log.

  3. A consent register

A record of which students, faculty and alumni agreed to appear, in which format and for how long.

Result: Any picture can be checked against a signed consent before posting.

  4. Pinned fact posts

A dated fee and recognition post, and a hostel and internship post, pinned and replaced when the facts change.

Result: Families and agents are pointed to one current post.

  5. A comment and message guide

Standard replies to common questions, with a rule on what moves to a phone call and what is never discussed in public.

    Result: Replies match whoever answers.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these medical colleges.

  • Government medical colleges that publish admission information
  • Private medical colleges with management and NRI quota seats
  • Deemed-to-be university medical colleges
  • Medical colleges attached to a trust hospital
  • Medical colleges with a postgraduate department
  • Colleges serving students from other states
  • Colleges attached to a large district teaching hospital
  • Newly established medical colleges building a reputation

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can we post student testimonials?
Advertising rules for medical education differ by state and regulator, and testimonials are a sensitive area, so we do not advise on them. Check with your own council or adviser. Factual posts about campus, departments and events need no testimonial.
Which platform matters most?
The one your families already use, which the enquiry source field will show. Start with the platform that brings enquiries and parents' questions, then add others when someone is free to look after them.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
