Skating academies · Local SEO

Show up on the map when a parent searches for skating near the school run.

Local SEO for a skating academy is how each venue appears in map results and in searches that name a locality. GullySales works on the Google Business Profile for each venue, the address details and the reviews parents leave.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For skating academies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A park or school ground is not a normal address”

Some academies teach at a ground with no shop front. The profile then confuses parents, who arrive at the wrong gate. A clear note on the entrance, the landmark and the batch hours stops that.

  • “Each venue is a separate listing”

One profile for the academy hides the venue the parent actually needs. Separate profiles, where Google's rules allow, each with its own timings and photographs, let the parent in one locality find the right place.

  • “Reviews come from parents, not from children”

The parent chooses and the parent writes the review. Asking at the moment a trial child comes off the rink smiling gets a response that asking months later does not. Reviews must be asked for plainly, never bought.

  • “Timings change with the season and the exam calendar”

A profile that lists last term's hours sends parents to an empty ground. Holiday camps, exam breaks and monsoon cancellations need to appear on the profile as they happen.

What we do

What we deliver for skating academies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Profile set-up for each venue

Name, address, business type, landmark note, hours and a clear description for every venue, checked against Google's current rules.

Result: Each venue can be found and understood on the map.

  2. Venue photographs with consent

A short list of photographs of the ground, entrance and equipment, with written parent consent for any image showing a child.

Result: The profile shows the place without exposing anyone.

  3. A review request routine

A polite message to the parent after a trial or a level, with a direct link to the review form.

Result: Reviews come from real parents who attended.

  4. A reply routine for reviews

Written replies to every review in your voice, with a rule for handling a complaint.

Result: Prospective parents see an academy that answers.

  5. Citation clean-up

Your academy name, address and number made consistent across directories that parents actually use.

Result: The same details appear everywhere.

  6. A seasonal update list

A list of changes to post on the profile when timings, camps or venues change.

Result: Parents stop arriving at an empty ground.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we list a park as our address?
Only if the listing rules allow it for your set-up, and the platform's current rules decide. We read them with you and tell you what is allowed before anything is submitted.
Should we offer a reward for a review?
No. Rewards for reviews can breach the platform's rules, and advertising and consumer rules differ by profession and state. Ask plainly and leave the choice to the parent.
Which comes first, the profile or the website?
The profile, because a map result can reach a parent before the site does. The two should then carry the same timings so they agree.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
