Skill development centres · Local SEO

Show up on the map when a candidate searches for training near their home.

Local SEO for a skill development centre means an accurate map listing and local pages, so candidates and families within travelling distance can find the centre, its address and its trades. GullySales works on the Google Business Profile, the town pages and the consistency of the centre's details across listings.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For skill development centres

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Travel decides the enquiry”

A candidate who pays for a bus to reach the centre weighs the route before the course. A listing that shows the address, a landmark and the nearest stop answers that question before the candidate picks up the phone.

  • “One name, several places”

A training partner with a main centre and village camps has a single name but several addresses. Each place needs its own listing detail, or the map sends a candidate to the wrong door.

  • “Parents read the photographs”

A mother checking a listing looks at the entrance, the classroom and the workshop. Dark or missing pictures raise the safety question before a counsellor has had a chance to answer it.

  • “Old addresses linger in directories”

Centres move between rented buildings from one batch to the next. A directory that still shows the previous address sends a candidate to a locked room and a lost morning.

What we do

What we deliver for skill development centres.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Google Business Profile set-up

Name, address, phone, hours, trades and photographs filled in and verified for each location the centre runs.

Result: Each location shows a correct address and a pin in the right place.

  2. Directions as locals give them

Route notes written from the bus stand or the market, in the local language, with the landmark a candidate will recognise.

Result: A candidate new to the town can follow the note without calling.

  3. Photograph plan

Pictures of the entrance, classroom, workshop and tools, taken with permission, with no candidate's face shown without written consent.

Result: A parent can see the building and the equipment before visiting.

  4. Listing consistency check

The centre's name, address and phone compared across directories and scheme portals, and corrected where they differ.

Result: The same address appears wherever the centre is listed.

  5. Town and taluk pages

One page for each town the centre draws from, giving travel details and the trades on offer.

Result: A candidate in a nearby town finds a page that names their town.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these skill development centres.

  • Training partners running government-sponsored skilling batches
  • Centres run by NGOs and foundations with CSR funding
  • ITI-linked and private polytechnic skill programmes
  • Centres training for retail, hospitality and customer care jobs
  • Tailoring, beauty and home-based livelihood training centres
  • Electrical, plumbing and technician trades centres
  • Rural skill centres running mobile and village-camp batches
  • Corporate-funded centres that train for the sponsor's own supply chain

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Your brief

Tell us what you need, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do village camps need their own listing?
Where a camp runs from a fixed place for a stated period, a listing helps candidates find it. Check the platform's current rules on temporary locations before creating one.
Can we ask past candidates for reviews?
Reviews are governed by the platform's rules and by your sponsor's guidance, so check both. Never offer a reward for a review, and do not post candidate stories without written consent.
What if two centres share one building?
Give each a distinct name and a clear floor or entrance detail on the listing. Two listings that look identical confuse the map and the candidate alike.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
