Software training institutes · Social media

Let trainers teach in public so a learner knows the voice before the demo.

Social media marketing for a software training institute is the use of Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and WhatsApp channels to show how the institute teaches. GullySales works on a plan around the trainers and the projects, with a way to catch the enquiries that follow.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For software training institutes

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A trainer is the product”

A learner buys the person who will explain a loop or a test case at nine in the evening. A two-minute clip of a trainer fixing a real bug does more than a poster of course names.

  • “Each platform reaches a different learner”

Instagram reaches the final-year student, LinkedIn reaches the working professional who wants to move roles, and YouTube is where a learner goes to judge the teaching. One post copied across all three suits none of them.

  • “Student work shows the course, with consent”

A learner's finished project is the best picture of what the course produces. It needs the learner's permission, and it should show the work, not a salary or an offer letter.

  • “Comments are enquiries”

A learner who writes what is the fee under a reel is an enquiry. If nobody replies or the reply lands on a different list, the post earns views and no admissions.

What we do

What we deliver for software training institutes.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A trainer-led content plan

A list of short lessons and explainers, each assigned to a trainer and a platform.

Result: Every trainer has a set of topics they can record from their own classes.

  2. Platform roles

A note on what each platform is for: discovery, proof of teaching, or enquiry.

Result: The team knows what a post on each platform is meant to do.

  3. Project showcase routine

A way to ask learners for permission and to present finished projects with the tools used.

Result: Each showcase post has the learner's written agreement.

  4. Comment and message handling

Replies for common questions and a rule for moving a comment enquiry onto the main list.

Result: A comment enquiry appears on the same list as a call.

  5. Paid boost choices

Guidance on which posts are worth putting money behind, based on the courses with open seats.

Result: Paid spend goes to posts about courses that still have seats.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these software training institutes.

  • Classroom institutes in IT hubs such as Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Pune
  • Online and hybrid software course providers
  • Institutes for non-IT graduates changing careers
  • Software testing and QA training institutes
  • Full stack and web development bootcamps
  • Cloud and DevOps training institutes
  • Weekend courses for working IT professionals
  • Institutes that teach in a college as a campus programme

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Your brief

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which platform should we start with?
Start with the one your best learners already use. For an institute with a classroom that may mean YouTube for teaching and Instagram or LinkedIn for reach, but your own enquiry sources should decide.
Can we use placement stories in posts?
Be careful. Use only what is true and agreed by the learner and the employer, and check the platform's current rules and your adviser on advertising claims.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
