Spoken English institutes · WhatsApp marketing

Make WhatsApp the place where an enquiry becomes a demo class booking.

WhatsApp marketing for a spoken English institute uses WhatsApp Business for the first reply, the batch details and the class reminders, with the learner's agreement. GullySales sets up the profile, the saved replies and the message rules.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For spoken English institutes

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “WhatsApp is where the learner already is”

A learner would rather message than phone, and send a voice note than type English. A reply that welcomes a voice note in Kannada or Hindi tells them nobody will correct their grammar here. The counsellor can then hear the learner speak a little before suggesting a batch, which is more reassuring than a form.

  • “A personal number is a weak front desk”

When the counsellor's own number is the institute's number, a change of staff takes the history away. A Business number with a catalogue of batches and saved replies stays with the institute. Learners also see a business name and a catalogue, which looks more settled than an unknown personal number.

  • “Broadcasts need consent”

A list of numbers gathered from anywhere is not permission. A learner who opted in to hear about batches can receive them. Anyone else may block the number and damage its standing. Keep a record of when and how each learner agreed, and send only what they asked to receive.

What we do

What we deliver for spoken English institutes.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. WhatsApp Business profile

Business name, description, address, hours and a catalogue listing each batch with level, timing and fee.

Result: A learner who opens the profile sees batches and hours.

  2. Quick replies for common questions

Saved replies for fee, level, timing, demo class and location, in each language used.

Result: The counsellor answers the same question the same way.

  3. Click-to-chat links and QR codes

Links for the website, the Google profile, posters and ads, each carrying a prefilled message.

Result: Enquiries from each place can be told apart.

  4. Opt-in note

A line on forms and posters asking the learner's agreement to receive batch and class messages, and how to stop them.

Result: Every number on the broadcast list has a recorded yes.

  5. Class reminder template

A short reminder for the evening before a class, naming the room and the trainer, once the platform has approved the template.

Result: Reminders go out in a fixed format.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Your brief

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we use our own WhatsApp number?
You can begin with the Business app on the institute's own number. If volume grows, the WhatsApp Business Platform through an approved provider suits several staff. Check the platform's current rules and fees before choosing.
Is it fine to add learners to a group?
Ask first. A learner added without asking may leave and report the group. A batch group for class notices works when joining is the learner's choice and the rules, such as no forwards, are posted.
Can the chat be automated?
A greeting and a simple menu can be automated. A nervous learner still wants a person, so hand over to the counsellor early. We do not recommend a bot that answers fee questions alone.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
