General insurance agencies · Lead generation

Reach the shop, godown and society owners who need cover before a loss does.

Lead generation for a general insurance agency means finding the traders, factory owners, societies and clinics who must buy fire, shop or liability cover and putting your name in front of them at that moment. GullySales works on the sources that send these buyers and on a clean record of who came from where.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For general insurance agencies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The need arrives through someone else”

A trader hears about fire cover from the bank, the landlord, the chartered accountant or a customer contract. The enquiry is the end of a chain, so the agency that is known to those four sources is the one the buyer rings.

  • “A lead without premises details wastes a visit”

An agent who drives to a godown to learn the trade, the stock and the building has spent half a day on an enquiry that may never become a proposal. A few questions before the visit separate a real need from a curious call.

  • “Single-line buyers are the cheapest next leads”

The shop that bought only a fire policy for its loan is already a client. Burglary, money in transit and public liability are conversations with a person who knows your name.

  • “Societies decide in committees”

A housing society buys through a managing committee that meets on its own calendar. A lead here is a presentation to the committee, so the agency needs a short, plain document the secretary can circulate.

What we do

What we deliver for general insurance agencies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Source map of who sends buyers

A list of the banks, accountants, associations and landlords near you, with a note on which already send enquiries.

Result: You can see which doors bring buyers and which are still closed.

  2. Enquiry questions for premises cover

A short set of questions on the trade, building, stock and loan, asked before a visit is fixed.

Result: Your team visits only the enquiries that fit the cover you place.

  3. Pages for each kind of premises

Separate pages for godowns, clinics, societies and factories, each naming the cover that buyer is asked for.

Result: A searcher lands on a page about their own premises, not a product list.

  4. Second-policy list from your own clients

A sheet of present clients holding one cover, with the covers they do not yet hold.

Result: Your first leads are people who already trust you.

  5. Source tags on every enquiry

A field recording whether the lead came from search, a bank, a referral or a renewal call.

Result: The register shows where each enquiry came from.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the lead generation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where do general insurance leads come from?
From the people who tell a business to buy cover: banks, landlords, accountants and customers. Search and your own client list add to that. GullySales maps these for your area and sets up pages and a register to capture them.
Can we buy leads from a portal?
Portal leads are shared with other sellers and the buyer has already been called. Whether and how an agency may use them depends on your insurer and the regulator, so check with your own compliance adviser first.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
