Loan distribution agencies · Financial services

Fill your login sheet with borrowers who fit a lender's rules.

A tele-caller has forty names on the screen from last night's Facebook lead form. Eleven have a salary under the lender's cut-off, six are already under a loan, and four never pick up. The rest ask one thing: which bank pays fastest? The agency owner's payout rides on the few files that reach disbursal, and each wasted call is still a salary paid.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Realistic editorial illustration of banks at work in India

In one paragraph

A loan distribution agency, also called a DSA, sources borrowers for banks and NBFCs and earns a payout when a loan is disbursed. Marketing brings in people who need money this week and are able to borrow. Sales carries each file to disbursal. GullySales sets up the pages, the calling routine and a tracker showing where every file sits.

Most agencies are good at the bank side. They know which credit manager at which lender will look at a file on a Saturday, and which product is open for a self-employed borrower with no ITR. The gaps are a steady supply of the right borrowers and a clean record of where each file sits. Leads live in a tele-caller's notebook, documents live on five phones, and an executive who resigns takes the file along.

How buyers decide

How loan distribution agencies are chosen.

The borrower does not start by picking an agency. The search is for personal loan, business loan or car loan on Google, or a tap on an Instagram lead form, or a question to the shop owner, CA, property agent or car dealer next door. Whoever calls back first, sounds clear about the papers and asks for no money upfront gets the documents. A fee demanded before login sends the borrower away, and the word travels.

The agency is also chosen from the other side by lenders. A bank or NBFC empanels a DSA on its own checks: the quality of files, the rejection and fraud rate, and how the team behaves with customers. Where a lender sends its own sales manager to review the agency, a tidy file record and a consistent process count for more than a glossy brochure.

Connectors and sub-agents form a third audience. A part-time connector with a file to place looks for an agency that pays on time, shares status unprompted and does not go around the connector to the customer. Recruiting and keeping those connectors is a sales job of its own.

The problem

What usually goes wrong for loan distribution agencies.

What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.

  • “Too many leads cannot get a loan”

Ad money goes on clicks from students, people with no income proof, or borrowers already carrying more EMIs than they can bear. The tele-callers spend the day finding that out one call at a time.

  • “We do not know which source gives us disbursals”

The owner knows how many leads came in and how many loans were disbursed. Between those two numbers, nobody can say whether Google, Facebook, connectors or walk-ins did the work.

  • “Files go quiet after the documents are collected”

Salary slips came in on WhatsApp, the executive logged in with one bank, and nobody told the borrower about the rejection. By the time anyone calls, the loan has gone to the bank next door.

  • “Our best connectors send files to other agencies too”

A connector with a network of shopkeepers and property agents splits files across three DSAs. The agency that reports back on each file first gets the next one.

  • “Everything depends on two senior executives”

They hold the lender contacts and know which product suits which profile. If either leaves, the borrower relationships and the bank relationships go with them.

  • “Our website looks like every other DSA”

It lists bank logos and a loan EMI calculator, with nothing that tells a borrower in Hubballi or Tumakuru why this agency is different from the one the neighbour used.

What we do

What we do for loan distribution agencies.

Everything included for loan distribution agencies.

  1. A page for every loan product and every kind of borrower

Separate pages for a salaried personal loan, a business loan without ITR, a car loan on a used vehicle and a loan against property, each listing the papers the lender asks for and the questions borrowers actually put to you.

  2. A first-call qualification script and form

A short set of questions on income, employer or business vintage, existing EMIs and the loan wanted, used by the tele-caller and the lead form alike, so unsuitable enquiries are sorted out in the first minutes.

  3. A file tracker that follows each case to disbursal

Every file recorded with the borrower, the lender, the stage (documents, login, query, sanction, disbursal, rejection) and the next person to act, kept in a CRM your team will actually update.

  4. A connector programme

A one-page note on how connectors are registered and paid, a WhatsApp group routine and a status update sent to the connector each time a file moves.

  5. Google Business Profile and local search pages

A profile per branch, with photos of the office board and the cabin where borrowers sit, plus a page for each town you serve.

  6. A lender-facing credentials sheet

Two pages for a credit manager or area sales head: the products you handle and the kinds of files you source, then how your team verifies documents before login.

  7. Enquiry-based reporting

A sheet of leads, qualified leads, logins and disbursals, split by source and by product, with last quarter's figures as the starting point.

How the result is measured

  • Qualified leads against total leads, by source
  • Files logged in against files collected
  • Disbursals by product and by lender
  • Cost per disbursed loan by source
  • Connector files received and disbursed
  • Time taken to first call-back on a new enquiry

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Worth a page and a campaign of their own

Personal loans for salaried borrowers · Business loans and working capital for traders and small manufacturers · Home loans and balance transfers · Loan against property · New and used car loans · Two-wheeler and consumer durable finance · Credit cards · Gold loan and small-ticket loans for shop owners · Connector and sub-agent recruitment · Co-lending and lender empanelment

Priority campaigns

Campaigns for what loan distribution agencies most want to sell.

Each one planned around when your buyers decide, and measured against the baseline.

  • Salary-day personal loan campaign

Meta lead forms and WhatsApp messages aimed at salaried staff of employers in your town, with the qualifying questions built into the form.

  • CA and trader network for business loans

An introduction note and a short document checklist for chartered accountants and GST practitioners, followed by a call to each one.

  • Dealer and property agent referral drive

A routine for car dealers, two-wheeler showrooms and property agents, with a clear record of who sent each customer and when the referral fee is due.

  • Dormant file reactivation

WhatsApp and call follow-up to borrowers whose files stopped at documents, were rejected by one lender or were closed without a result, offering a check with another lender on your panel.

  • Connector recruitment campaign

Outreach to insurance agents, mutual fund distributors, shopkeepers and local influencers, explaining how a connector is registered and how the payout is recorded.

Beyond search

Where we reach buyers of loan distribution agencies, beyond Google.

Search matters, but it is rarely the only way this industry's buyers find a supplier.

  • Google Search and Maps

Loan searches with a town name carry the intent. Your Business Profile and product pages need the lender-neutral language of a distributor, not a bank's.

  • Meta lead forms and Instagram

Cheap to start and quick to flood the team with unsuitable enquiries, so the form questions matter more than the creative.

  • WhatsApp

Where borrowers send their documents and ask for updates. A separate business number and a saved reply for each stage keep it manageable.

  • CAs, dealers, builders and property agents

The people who already know when a customer needs money. They send the best files and want to be told what happened to them.

  • Lender relationship managers

Not a marketing channel, but the people who decide which files you can place. A tidy track record is the only thing they see.

Who it is for

This is written for these loan distribution agencies.

  • Multi-lender DSAs with a tele-calling team and a small field force
  • Business loan and MSME loan agencies working with CAs and traders
  • Home loan and loan against property agencies tied to builders and property agents
  • Vehicle loan agencies sitting inside car and two-wheeler dealerships
  • Personal loan and credit card agencies running high-volume telecalling
  • Agencies that recruit and pay a network of part-time connectors
  • Small-town agencies serving salaried staff of local employers and government offices
  • Agencies attached to a single NBFC or housing finance company

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

How the work runs for loan distribution agencies

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Sort the enquiries you already have

Last quarter's leads, files and disbursals are laid side by side to show which source and product produced loans, and where files stalled.

  2. 2

Set the qualification and the file stages

The questions, the lender-wise document list and the file stages are agreed with your team and put in the CRM.

  3. 3

Build the pages and the lead forms

Product pages, town pages and the forms are written in plain language and checked against your lender panel and your own compliance rules.

  4. 4

Run the borrower and connector campaigns

Search, Meta and WhatsApp for borrowers, outreach for CAs, dealers and connectors, all recorded against the same file tracker.

  5. 5

Read the numbers and move the budget

Cost per disbursed loan by source and product guides where the next rupee goes, and the sources that fill the login sheet but not the disbursal sheet are cut.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

GullySales builds every engagement from three pieces of sales work. This page is not one of them, but the same three steps apply to the business behind it.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions loan distribution agencies ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can marketing guarantee that a borrower gets sanctioned?
No, and a page that says so would be wrong. The lender decides on the borrower's income, credit history and papers. What marketing does is bring you more people who fit a lender's rules and make sure none of them go cold after the first call.
We pay for leads from a portal. Why would we need anything else?
Ask the portal whether a lead is sold to more than one agency; if it is, you compete for the same borrower. Your own search pages, referral partners and old files are enquiries only your agency holds, and the tracker shows what each source costs per disbursal.
How do you handle rules about what a loan agency may say in its marketing?
We write in general terms and leave out rates, approval claims and lender-specific promises unless your lender has approved the wording. Rules differ by lender and change, so your own compliance contact checks each page before it goes live.
Can you help us recruit connectors without paying fixed salaries?
We write the connector note, set up a record of who sent which file and what is owed, and plan the outreach to insurance agents, distributors and shop owners. How much you pay and when is your decision, agreed with each connector and within what your lender agreements allow for sub-agents.
Does this work for a small agency in a tier-2 town?
The size suits it. In a tier-2 town an office the borrower can walk into counts, so one Google profile, a tracker and a handful of local referrers carry the work.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and we tell you which applies to you after we have spoken. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
To start, last month's enquiries in any format and time with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM.
