Chit fund companies · Affiliate marketing

Reward the agents who already bring in trusted subscribers, formally.

Affiliate marketing for a chit fund company means formalising the commission and referral relationship with agents who bring in subscribers. It makes the arrangement transparent and trackable rather than an informal handshake. GullySales sets up the tracking and the agreement so both the company and the agent know what is owed.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What affiliate marketing means

Affiliate marketing is paying another website, page or person a commission for every sale or enquiry they send you. This ties the cost directly to results rather than paying upfront. GullySales sets the commission terms, tracking link and payout process for each affiliate.

For chit fund companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Agent commission needs to be documented, not assumed”

An informal understanding about commission causes disputes once a group grows, and a written structure avoids that entirely.

  • “Top agents deserve a different tier than occasional ones”

An agent who reliably fills a group each month is worth a different arrangement than one who brings an occasional subscriber.

  • “Tracking protects the company during a regulatory review”

A clear record of who referred each subscriber and what commission was paid supports the company if a regulator asks for it.

What we do

What we deliver for chit fund companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Written agent commission structure

A documented commission agreement per agent, replacing an informal understanding that causes disputes as a group grows.

Result: Agents and the company both know exactly what is owed.

  2. Tiered arrangement for top-performing agents

A separate tier and terms for an agent who reliably fills a group each month, apart from occasional referrers.

Result: Your best agents get recognised differently from occasional ones.

  3. Subscriber-to-agent tracking record

A shared record linking every subscriber to the agent who referred them and the commission due.

Result: The company can account for every referral if a regulator asks.

  4. Agent onboarding document

A short document setting out what is expected of an agent and how commission is calculated and paid.

Result: A new agent starts with a clear, written understanding.

  5. Commission payment schedule

A regular, documented schedule for calculating and paying agent commission, replacing ad hoc settlement.

Result: Agents can plan around a payment they can rely on.

How the result is measured

  • Sales through affiliates
  • Cost per affiliate sale
  • Active affiliates

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Clauses for the agent agreement

A chit fund agent agreement should settle these six points in writing before the first subscriber is enrolled.

Who the agent is
Record name, address, identity proof, the branch the agent reports to, and whether the agent is an employee or independent. Your legal adviser decides which form of agreement fits.
When commission falls due
State the basis and the trigger, for example after the first instalment is received and not when the form is signed, so the company is never paying for a subscriber who left.
What happens if the subscriber leaves early
Say whether commission is reduced or reclaimed when a subscriber drops out or defaults. Settle this before the first payout, not after a dispute.
What the agent may say
Give every agent the approved explanation of the auction, the foreman's commission and how the prize is decided. Anything beyond it is not the company's promise.
Money goes to the company
The subscriber pays the company directly and receives a receipt. An agent does not hold instalments, so no dispute can arise about cash passing through a pocket.
Notice, disputes and ending the arrangement
Write the notice period, who decides a disagreement about commission, and the grounds on which the arrangement ends, including breaking the rule on what may be said.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the affiliate marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the product and margin

We check the product can support a commission and that a sale can be tracked end to end.

  2. 2

    Audit existing relationships

We list dealers, past customers and contacts who already recommend you informally, since they convert faster than strangers.

  3. 3

    Set up tracking and terms

Links, codes and a written commission agreement are put in place before any partner is approached.

  4. 4

    Recruit and brief partners

A first batch of partners is approached, briefed and given assets to work with.

  5. 5

    Measure and reconcile

Sales are matched to partners every month and commission is paid on schedule.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is this different from just paying agent commission?
It adds structure and tracking to what many companies already do informally, reducing disputes and confusion.
Do we need software for this?
A simple shared record is enough to start, tracking each subscriber's referring agent and commission due.
Can an agent tell a subscriber they will win the auction early?
No. The prize goes to whoever the auction decides, and no agent can know that in advance. Put it in the agreement that such a promise ends the arrangement, and tell agents so at onboarding. Subscribers who were promised a result are the ones who complain.
Should an agent be paid if a subscriber leaves early?
Decide in writing before the first payout. Some companies pay in parts and pay the rest as instalments come in, others reclaim commission if the subscriber leaves within a set period. Choose one with your legal adviser and tell the agent before they enrol anyone.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
