General hospitals · Buyer persona

Write down who decides when a family chooses a hospital for ordinary illness.

A buyer persona for a general hospital describes the person who actually chooses the bed, who is seldom the patient. GullySales builds one persona for each group you serve, from the factory HR contact to the adult child of an elderly patient.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For general hospitals

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The adult child chooses for an ageing parent”

A working son or daughter, who may live in another town, picks the hospital by phone. They want a clear admission route, a named doctor and a reachable number, and they judge by how the first call is answered.

  • “The expectant mother and the family make a joint decision”

For delivery, the mother, the husband and the parents each hold a view. The family doctor or a neighbour's experience weighs heavily, and the cost of a normal and a caesarean delivery is asked first.

  • “The scheme card holder asks one question before any other”

A family holding a government scheme card or insurance wants to know if it is accepted before it travels. If the answer is hard to find, they assume no and go elsewhere.

  • “The factory HR manager buys for a group”

An HR or admin manager chooses a hospital for staff injuries, camps and check-ups. They value a named contact, a prompt response and clean paperwork over any advertisement.

What we do

What we deliver for general hospitals.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A card for each group you serve

One written profile per group, such as families of elderly patients, expectant mothers, scheme holders and employers, based on your own admissions.

Result: A persona card for every major patient group.

  2. A list of what each person asks first

The first three questions each persona puts to the desk, from cost to scheme cards to doctor timings.

Result: The desk has the answers ready before the call.

  3. A check against your registers

Persona cards compared with your admission and OPD records, so each card reflects patients you really treat.

Result: Cards rewritten wherever the register disagrees.

  4. Messages shaped to each persona

The words used on the listing, the website and WhatsApp replies, adjusted to what each persona needs to see.

Result: A scheme holder sees scheme details first.

  5. A card for referrers

A short profile of a family doctor or chemist who sends patients, with what they need back from the hospital.

Result: A referrer knows what to expect after sending someone.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these general hospitals.

  • Taluk and small-town private general hospitals
  • Hospitals run by one or two doctors with an in-house casualty
  • Charitable trust and mission general hospitals
  • Hospitals empanelled under state and central health schemes
  • Industrial-area hospitals serving factory workers and ESI beneficiaries
  • Neighbourhood hospitals in city wards with a ground-floor pharmacy and lab
  • Hospitals with a small maternity and paediatric unit
  • General hospitals expanding from a clinic into inpatient beds

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How many personas does a general hospital need?
Start with the groups that fill your beds, three to five. Use your admission and OPD records to pick them. Add another only when a real group of patients does not fit the existing ones.
Where does the information come from?
From your own registers, the questions patients ask at the desk and a few conversations with staff who take the calls. We do not invent facts about your patients. Each card is a draft until your team confirms it.
Does this change how the desk speaks to callers?
Yes. Once the desk knows that a caller is probably an adult child or a scheme holder, it can lead with the answer that person needs. We write short call notes for the staff to try.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
