Private hospitals · Local SEO

Appear on the map when a family searches for a hospital near them.

Local SEO for a private hospital covers the Google Maps listing, the reviews and the area pages that decide whether a nearby family sees the hospital. GullySales works on the listing, the reviews routine and the location signals for the areas you serve.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

Last updated 18 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For private hospitals

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Maps is where emergency and urgent searches end”

Someone looking for a hospital near them at an odd hour looks at the map pack, taps a call button or asks for directions. If the listing shows the wrong phone number or closed hours, the hospital loses the very search it wanted.

  • “Departments need their own accurate listing details”

A hospital that runs a maternity wing, a dialysis unit and a pharmacy has different hours and numbers for each. One generic listing leaves families calling the main desk to be redirected.

  • “Reviews are read for the person named in them”

Families scan the latest reviews for a doctor, a nurse or a receptionist described by name, and for how the hospital answered a complaint. A wall of unanswered reviews reads as indifference.

  • “A family arrives from a different suburb”

Patients travel across the city for a trusted surgeon. Area pages and listing categories that describe where you are and how to reach you by road and transit matter to them.

What we do

What we deliver for private hospitals.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Google Business Profile set-up and audit

Name, address, phone, hours, services and photographs checked and corrected against what is true on the ground.

Result: The listing matches the hospital's real details.

  2. Separate listing for distinct units

Where a unit has its own entrance, hours or number, it gets its own correct entry.

Result: Families reach the right desk on the first call.

  3. Review request and reply routine

A way to ask for reviews at discharge without offering anything in return, and a standard for replying politely, including to billing complaints.

Result: Every review has a considered reply.

  4. Directions and access page

Parking, nearest landmarks, routes by road and public transport, and visiting rules written plainly.

Result: A first-time visitor knows how to arrive.

  5. Consistency check across directories

Name, address and phone compared across the listings families actually use.

Result: You have a list of mismatches and their fixes.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these private hospitals.

  • Newly built private hospitals still building a name
  • Private hospitals run by a business group or a cooperative
  • Private hospitals that also run a government scheme wing

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we choose which reviews appear?
No, and you should not try. You can invite every patient to review honestly and reply to each one. Follow the platform's current rules on asking for reviews.
Do we need a listing for each branch?
Each location a patient can walk into should have its own listing with its own details. We map them out with you first.
Why do some doctors appear on Maps separately?
A doctor may hold a personal listing from their own practice. We list them with you, so the hospital and the doctor are not describing the same address differently.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
