Dry cleaners and laundries · Content marketing

Answer what a family asks before handing over a silk saree.

Content marketing for a laundry answers what households worry about: whether zari survives, what a stain costs, how a lehenga is stored, what per kilo includes. GullySales writes those answers into your pages and turns each one into the reply your counter sends on WhatsApp.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For dry cleaners and laundries

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The fear is damage, not price”

A family handing over a Kanjeevaram is asking one question in four different ways. Answer it in writing and the bag arrives.

  • “Per kilo needs explaining”

Customers do not know what counts as a kilo, which items are charged per piece, or why a blanket is different. Every shop assumes they do.

  • “Storage advice brings the garment back next year”

Tell a family how to keep a wedding lehenga through a monsoon and they bring it to you for the pre-storage clean.

  • “A written answer is what a resident forwards”

A clear page on saree care gets pasted into a society group by somebody who read it. A price broadcast does not.

What we do

What we deliver for dry cleaners and laundries.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Care pages for the pieces people fear losing

Silk sarees and zari, bridal lehengas, sherwanis, suits, leather bags and shoes, covering the process, the risks and what you check before accepting.

Result: The expensive garment arrives with fewer questions.

  2. A page explaining per kilo and per piece

What the kilo covers, which items are charged per piece, how bulky things are treated and what a minimum order means.

Result: Households stop arguing at delivery about the bill.

  3. Stain and fabric answers in plain words

What comes out, what does not, what a home remedy does to a fabric, and when you will refuse a garment rather than risk it.

Result: You sound like people who handle clothes for a living.

  4. Seasonal advice written ahead of each push

Storing woollens and quilts, drying in the monsoon, preparing curtains before Diwali, cleaning wedding wear before it is packed away.

Result: The advice arrives in the week people are thinking about it.

  5. The same answers saved as counter replies

Each page condensed into a WhatsApp reply, so a household gets the same explanation on the phone as on the site.

Result: Nobody types a paragraph during the Saturday rush.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Questions buyers ask first

The questions a household asks before handing over a saree or a bag of clothes, and the page for each.

Will the zari on my saree survive dry cleaning?
A care page for silk, zari and embroidered wear: what you inspect at the counter, how it is packed on return, and a plain line that old zari can wear regardless of cleaning. Do not promise a result you cannot control.
What does per kilo actually include?
A page stating what is washed, folded and ironed per kilo, which items are always charged by the piece (sarees, blankets, suits), any minimum quantity, and whether pickup is charged. Use your real rates.
How do you handle a bridal lehenga?
A bridal page: inspection with the customer present, handwork and stones noted on the slip, the garment box, and why to hand it over early enough that a second look is possible if something needs redoing.
What if a garment is damaged or lost?
A written damage policy: existing marks noted on the slip, a photo at intake, how a claim is made, and what you pay. Publishing it is the best reply to the one bad review at the top of your listing.
Can you get this stain out?
A stain page by stain (turmeric, ink, sweat, wine), saying what home remedies make worse and why a customer should bring the item in early. Say plainly that some stains stay.
Do you pick up from my apartment block?
A coverage page naming the societies and streets you serve, the pickup windows, and how to book on WhatsApp with a message the customer can copy.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the content marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Confirm the plan

Topics and formats for the coming month are confirmed against the content strategy.

  2. 2

    Produce and review

Content is written or filmed, then reviewed by someone who knows your trade before it goes out.

  3. 3

    Publish and distribute

Finished content is published to the site and pushed through the channels your buyers actually use.

  4. 4

    Track enquiries

Enquiries are traced back to content where a direct line exists, and reported honestly where it does not.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

We report results and adjust the next topics based on what actually worked.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Your brief

Tell us what you need, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need to write articles for a laundry shop?
Not articles. Eight or ten pages answering what people ask at the counter, and the same answers saved as WhatsApp replies. That is the whole job, and it lasts for years.
Should we publish what we charge to remove a stain?
Publish the range and say it is confirmed after inspection. Stains differ by fabric and age, and a household given a number only after handing the garment over feels it was a trap.
Is a short video of the process better than a written page?
A video of the sorting, tagging and finishing helps people who fear damage, but a written page is what search finds and what a resident forwards. Do both: the page first, then a short video embedded in it.
Can we show customers' clothes on a care page?
Use your own sample pieces or the shop's own cloth, not a customer's garment. If a customer agrees to a before and after, get that in writing and keep names, faces and monograms out. Never post a customer's item without asking.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
