Landscape contractors · Pay per click advertising

Spend in the three months before the rains, not in the monsoon.

Paid advertising for a landscaping contractor buys search and Meta clicks from villa owners, terrace owners and facility managers inside a short planting season. GullySales runs the campaigns in the weeks before the rains, screens out rate hunters, and counts orders rather than clicks.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend against enquiries received.

For landscape contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The season is short and the budget should be lumpy”

Planting goes in just before the monsoon, so March to May carries the design enquiries. The same monthly budget spread through October wastes most of itself.

  • “A garden click and a lawn mowing click are different buyers”

Somebody searching for garden maintenance near me wants a monthly visit at a low rate. Somebody searching for a terrace garden designer wants a project. One campaign cannot serve both.

  • “Ads never reach the person drawing the plant schedule”

No amount of spend puts you in front of a garden design consultant who is already specifying. That work is won by walking them through a mature site, so it is budgeted separately.

What we do

What we deliver for landscape contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Campaigns timed to the planting calendar

Budget raised through the pre-monsoon design months, held down in the wettest weeks and raised again before the winter planting window.

Result: You advertise in the months work can actually start.

  2. Separate campaigns for projects and for maintenance

One campaign for design and build enquiries, another for monthly contracts, each with its own page, form and follow-up.

Result: A project enquiry stops being answered with a mowing rate.

  3. Three qualifying questions on every form

Area, water source and planting month asked before the enquiry reaches your phone, with photographs invited from the owner.

Result: Site visits go to people who can describe their site.

  4. Landing pages that answer the fear

The terrace campaign lands on waterproofing, load and drainage, and the villa campaign lands on soil, species and the first year of care.

Result: The click arrives at the objection instead of a brochure.

  5. Localities chosen where gardens exist

Spend aimed at areas with independent houses, villa projects and gated communities, rather than sprayed across a whole city map.

Result: You stop paying for clicks from flats with no balcony.

  6. Reporting to proposals and orders

Each click followed through to the site visit, the proposal and the order, by garden type, against the baseline recorded before work starts.

Result: You can tell which campaign paid for a project.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches to bid on and block

The searches from people about to build a garden, and the ones from people who want a lawn cut cheaply.

Garden design and build, plus villa or farmhouse
Bid. A person who types design and build for a villa is planning a full job. Say which cities you work in and show one finished garden in the advert, so a small-balcony buyer filters themselves out.
Terrace garden and rooftop garden installation
Bid in its own ad group. The buyer owns the building and has a waterproofing question. Land the click on a page that asks the floor area and whether the terrace is already waterproofed.
Lawn grass, artificial grass and rate per square foot
Block unless you lay lawn as a product. These searchers want a price and compare quickly. Add rate, price, per sq ft, artificial grass and cheap as negatives, or move them to a separate page.
Garden maintenance and gardener near me
Bid only if you sell maintenance contracts. Keep it apart from build work and say it is a contract. Block gardener job, mali and daily wage, or you attract people hunting for work.
Where the click lands
Send it to a page showing two or three finished gardens with the plot size and the year they were built, plus a short form asking site area and city. Do not send it to a plant list.
Counting a real enquiry
Count a call or form that names a site, an area or a drawing, not a request for a rate. Book a site visit, and log which visits became a quotation.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the pay per click advertising work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the total budget

We agree the full paid advertising budget available across all platforms, rather than planning each one separately.

  2. 2

    Audit current platform performance

We compare existing campaigns on a shared basis to see where the budget currently performs best and worst.

  3. 3

    Build the cross-platform plan

Campaigns are structured across platforms with a shared measurement standard from the outset.

  4. 4

    Implement and monitor

Campaigns run with budget allocated dynamically based on real-time performance.

  5. 5

    Measure and reallocate

We report performance and shift budget toward what is working, within agreed limits.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is Meta or Google better for a landscaping contractor?
Google for people who have decided they want a garden, Meta for owners who have not got there yet. A terrace garden is an idea before it is a search, so a photograph of a finished rooftop does work no keyword can. Run both before the monsoon and compare the enquiries.
How do we stop paying for people who only want a rate?
Ask three things on the form: the area, the water source and the month they want it planted. Anyone who will not answer was never going to book a site visit. Your enquiry count drops and your visits improve.
Should we advertise only before summer and the monsoon?
Plan spend around the seasons clients actually plant and build in your city. Many contractors run a standing small campaign and raise it before planting season. Check your own diary, since a busy team cannot take more site visits.
Is it worth bidding on architect and builder searches?
Seldom through search. An architect picks a contractor from past work and referrals, not from an advert. Use Google for homeowners who search a garden project, and spend your effort on a portfolio the architect can look at.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
