Personal shopping services · Local SEO

Be the listing that names the markets you buy from when a family searches nearby.

Local SEO for a personal shopper is the work of appearing in map and city results when a family searches for a shopper in the place where the buying happens. GullySales works on the listing, the markets named on it, and the reviews that sit beside it.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For personal shopping services

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The city searched is where the buying is done”

A client in Dubai types Bengaluru because the shops are there. The listing and the page should name Commercial Street, Chickpet or Jayanagar, since that is what tells the reader you can reach the cloth they want.

  • “You have no shopfront to be found at”

A map listing is built for places people walk into. A shopper who travels to the client or to the market must set the listing as a service business, with an area served, or the profile confuses the reader and the platform.

  • “Reviews in the listing are the nearest thing to a shop window”

A reader who cannot visit looks at what past clients wrote. A review that says the options arrived on WhatsApp, the bill matched and the parcel came on time does more than a photograph of a saree.

What we do

What we deliver for personal shopping services.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A listing set up as a service business

Category, service area and description entered for a shopper who goes to the market, not for a counter that waits.

Result: The profile shows the areas you cover and no street address you do not use.

  2. Markets and neighbourhoods named

The markets, malls and streets you buy from written into the description and the services, in the words clients use.

Result: The listing names the places a client expects you to shop.

  3. A review ask at delivery

A message sent as the parcel arrives, with the link ready, asking what the client received and how the brief went.

Result: New reviews describe the process, not just the clothes.

  4. Replies to reviews and questions

Written answers to each review and to questions on the profile, including the ones about fee and returns.

Result: A reader sees the terms explained in public.

  5. A matching page on the website

A city page that repeats the same name, area and phone line as the listing, so the two agree.

Result: The listing and the website carry the same details.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these personal shopping services.

  • Wardrobe and styling consultants for working women and men
  • Wedding and trousseau shoppers for families
  • Buyers for NRIs sending clothes and gifts to relatives in India
  • Gift sourcing for festivals and corporate occasions
  • Errand-style help for senior citizens and housebound clients
  • Home furnishing and decor shoppers
  • Personal shoppers inside boutiques and malls
  • Wholesale-market buyers who pick stock for small resellers

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Your brief

Tell us what you need, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do I need a shop address on the listing?
No. A service business can hide its address and show the area it serves. Check the platform's current rules for how to set that up and what proof may be asked for.
Should I list every city I have shopped in?
Only the places you can serve well. A long list weakens the profile where families really search. Choose the cities where you have markets and clients.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
