Show taste on the grid so the cousin abroad knows whose judgement to trust.

Social media marketing for a personal shopper is the use of Instagram and Facebook to show the taste and process that a client is buying. GullySales works on what the grid shows, how a brief is described in a post, and where a reader goes to write.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For personal shopping services

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The grid is the portfolio”

A relative abroad scrolls through your posts to decide whether your sense of colour and budget matches theirs. Posts of random cloth read as a shop. Posts that show a brief, the options and the choice read as a service.

  • “Faces and names need consent”

A finished trousseau is the best proof you have, and also the most private. Show the cloth and the choice, and name the client only when they have agreed. Check the platform's current rules on tagging and on commercial posts.

  • “A reel gets watched and nobody writes”

A video of a market walk draws views from people who will never hire a shopper. Each post needs one clear next step, such as the brief form on WhatsApp, or the audience is entertained and unchanged.

What we do

What we deliver for personal shopping services.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A grid plan built on briefs

Posts arranged around the kinds of brief you want more of, each showing the ask, the options and the reason for the final choice.

Result: A new visitor can see what a brief looks like at a glance.

  2. A consent note for client work

A short message asking permission to show a purchase, with a clear statement of what will and will not be shown.

Result: Each post of client work has a reply from the client on record.

  3. Highlights that explain the process

Pinned stories on how a brief starts, how options are sent, how payment works and how a parcel travels.

Result: The profile answers the first questions without a message.

  4. A bio and link built for the brief

A profile line that says who you shop for and a link straight to the WhatsApp brief message.

Result: The profile has one clear place to write.

  5. A reading of posts against messages

Which posts led to a message that became a brief, set against those that only drew likes.

Result: You know which kind of post brings briefs.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these personal shopping services.

  • Wardrobe and styling consultants for working women and men

  • Home furnishing and decor shoppers
  • Personal shoppers inside boutiques and malls
  • Wholesale-market buyers who pick stock for small resellers

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

Your brief

Tell us what you need, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should I run ads on Instagram?
Possibly for one clear offer, such as festival gifts. Look first at which posts already bring messages. We decide with you after that, and we cannot promise a number of enquiries.
How often should I post?
Post when you have a finished brief or an occasion worth showing. A thin post to keep a schedule says less about your taste than silence does. We plan around the work you have.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
