Photography services · Local SEO

Appear on the map when a family nearby searches for a photographer.

Local SEO for a photographer is how your Google profile and pages appear when someone searches for a photographer near them. GullySales works on the profile, the areas you name and the review flow that decide whether you show up.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For photography services

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A home-visit photographer still needs a place on the map”

Photographers who travel have no shopfront, yet families search for a baby shoot near me and tap the first names shown. A profile with a service area and an honest address note can still appear.

  • “The profile categories decide which searches you meet”

A profile labelled only as a photographer misses the family looking for a baby or event specialist. The main and extra labels should match the occasions you want to shoot.

  • “Reviews in the pack are read like a recommendation”

A family sees three names and a few reviews each. A review that mentions a first birthday or a home shoot reassures the next family planning exactly that, more than a general line of praise.

  • “Photographs on the profile are your window display”

The first images shown set the expectation. If they are old wedding frames, a family planning a child's party feels out of place, so recent work from several occasions belongs there.

What we do

What we deliver for photography services.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A complete Google profile

Name, categories, services, service area, hours and a booking link set out for each occasion you shoot.

Result: Your profile lists the occasions you cover and the areas you travel to.

  2. Area pages for the places you travel to

A short page for each area you cover, using real shoots from there and no invented places.

Result: A searcher in a named area finds a page that mentions it.

  3. A review request after delivery

A message with the review link sent when the family has the photographs and is pleased.

Result: Newer reviews come from families you shot, with the occasion named.

  4. Profile photographs by occasion

A set of recent images arranged to show birthdays, baby shoots and portraits, not only functions.

Result: A family sees their own kind of occasion on your profile.

  5. Reply to every review

A written answer to each review, courteous and specific, including any complaint about delivery.

Result: A new family sees that reviews are read and answered.

  6. Calls and direction counts

The profile's own counts of calls, website taps and message taps recorded against your starting point.

Result: You can see whether the profile brings contact.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these photography services.

  • Birthday and first-birthday photographers
  • Baby shower, naming ceremony and newborn-at-home photographers
  • Engagement, haldi and mehendi photographers
  • Housewarming and festival photographers
  • Family portrait photographers who travel to the home
  • Portfolio photographers for actors, models and professionals
  • Maternity and couple photographers working outdoors
  • Freelance photographers working with decorators and event planners

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

I work from home. Can I still have a Google profile?
Yes, as a service-area business without a public address, but check the platform's current rules for your case. Do not use a false address. Honest details protect the profile from being suspended.
Should I ask clients for reviews?
Yes, once the family has the photographs and is happy, and ask in your own words. Do not offer a discount or gift for a review, and check the platform's current rules on asking.
Why does a competitor with fewer photographs rank above me?
Distance from the searcher, the profile's labels, completeness and reviews all count. A nearer or fuller profile can show first even when its work is thinner than yours.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
