Ice cream parlours · Local SEO

Be the first dessert shop on the map when someone on your street is hungry.

Local SEO for an ice cream parlour is winning the map results for people deciding where to go within a short drive of the shop. GullySales works on the listing, the photographs, the hours and the reviews behind that choice.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For ice cream parlours

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The search happens on the pavement”

A family asks the phone for ice cream near me while standing outside the restaurant next door. The three shops shown get the visit, so being listed correctly matters more than any poster.

  • “Evening hours decide the result”

A parlour whose listing says it closes at nine, when the shutter goes down at eleven, is invisible to the late-evening search. Special hours for festivals, exam weeks and match days belong on the listing too.

  • “Seating and parking are the question behind the question”

Parents with children check whether there is a place to sit and somewhere to park before they check the flavours. If the photographs and the description do not say so, the mall chain wins the visit.

  • “A melted-delivery review follows the shop around”

A single review about soft ice cream from a delivery order sits next to your rating on the map. Unanswered, it tells the next family the product is not worth the trip.

What we do

What we deliver for ice cream parlours.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A listing built around the evening out

Correct hours, business type, services and an attributes list covering seating, parking, takeaway and tub orders.

Result: Every field a family checks before leaving home is filled and true.

  2. Photographs taken at the counter

Pictures of the counter, the seating, the entrance, the parking and the flavours on the board, added to the listing and replaced when the shop changes.

Result: The first photographs show where a family of five will sit.

  3. Special hours for festival and holiday days

Hours entered for festivals, local events and days the shop opens late or stays shut.

Result: The listing is right on the days people search the hardest.

  4. A review ask at the counter

A card or a QR code at the till, with a polite request handed over while the customer is still smiling.

Result: Recent reviews come from people who were in the shop.

  5. Replies to reviews, including delivery complaints

A written, calm reply to each review, with a note on the delivery radius where the complaint concerns melting.

Result: A new reader sees the shop respond in public.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a separate listing for each outlet?
Yes. Each outlet has its own address, hours and phone line, so each gets its own verified profile. Two branches on one listing weaken both.
Can the listing show the flavours?
It can show a menu and photographs of the flavour board. Keep them current, and check the platform's current rules on what each field accepts.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
