Institutional food service providers · Local SEO

Show up on the map when a plant head or warden searches for a kitchen contractor nearby.

Local SEO for an institutional food service provider is the work on your Google profile and local pages so that institutions in your region find you and can see where your kitchens are. GullySales works on the profile, the service area and the local pages behind it.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For institutional food service providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers want a provider they can drive to”

A school management or a plant head thinks about whether the provider can reach the site, cover an absent cook and be visited by the committee. A provider whose profile places it in the same city or industrial area reads as reachable before any call is made.

  • “Your office is not your kitchen”

A provider may list a head office and nothing else. A buyer searching near a hospital wants to know where the central kitchen or the nearest running site is. Decide what each location is, and set the profile to say so honestly.

  • “The service area must match what you can staff”

Naming a district you cannot supply creates enquiries you will turn down, and a committee that visits and finds nothing nearby loses trust. A service area drawn from your actual routes and sites is stronger than a long list of towns.

  • “Reviews here are handled with care”

An institution may not wish to be named, and a review from a client is theirs to give. Reply to what is posted, politely and factually, and do not ask a client to write one unless they have agreed. Check the platform's current rules.

What we do

What we deliver for institutional food service providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A verified profile for each kitchen or office

Profiles set up for the locations where a buyer can actually visit, with the correct name, address, phone and a plain description of the service.

Result: A buyer searching nearby finds a real location.

  2. Service areas drawn from real routes

The districts and industrial areas you can serve, entered on the profile after checking against staff and transport.

Result: The area you name is the area you can reach.

  3. Kitchen and counter photographs

Photographs of kitchens, storage, serving counters and vehicles, with no staff or diners shown without consent.

Result: The profile shows a working operation.

  4. Local pages for your main regions

A page for each city or industrial area where you want contracts, naming the institution types and the sites you serve with permission.

Result: Local searches land on a page about that place.

  5. Consistent name and address everywhere

One spelling of the firm name, address and phone across the profile, website and directories.

Result: Search engines read one firm, not three.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We have no walk-in customers. Do we need a Google profile?
Yes. The visitor is the committee member or evaluator checking you, and a profile with a real address, photographs and a phone line is the first thing they find on a phone.
Should we list the institutions we serve on the profile?
Only with their written agreement. Otherwise describe the type of institution, such as a hospital kitchen or a hostel mess, and offer a visit.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
