Vegetarian restaurants · Search engine optimisation

Get found by guests who type pure veg, Jain or satvik before they type a dish.

SEO for a vegetarian restaurant is the work of making your pages the answer to searches such as pure veg restaurant, Jain food near me or upvas thali. GullySales works on the pages, the wording and the structure that tell a search engine your kitchen is vegetarian throughout.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For vegetarian restaurants

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Guests search for the rule before the dish”

A Jain traveller types the restriction first: no onion no garlic, pure veg, satvik. A page titled only North Indian restaurant never matches that intent, however good the paneer is. The words the guest uses have to appear on your pages.

  • “A vegetarian section inside a mixed kitchen is a different promise”

Searchers who want a fully vegetarian kitchen notice the difference at once. If your restaurant is vegetarian throughout, the title tags, headings and descriptions should say so, and they should say it the same way on every page.

  • “Fasting terms change with region”

Upvas, vrat, farali, Ekadashi and Navratri menus are named differently across Maharashtra, Gujarat, the north and the south. Pages written in only one set of words miss the guests who use the others.

  • “A menu locked in a photograph cannot be found”

A menu uploaded as an image gives a search engine nothing to read. The dishes, the Jain marks and the fasting notes need to be written text on a page, with a photograph beside them.

What we do

What we deliver for vegetarian restaurants.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Search-term list from real guest questions

A list built from what guests ask at the counter, on calls and in reviews, grouped by dining need.

Result: You hold a list of the phrases your own guests use.

  2. Pages for Jain, fasting and thali menus

Separate written pages, each with its own heading, dish descriptions and a note on how the food is cooked.

Result: Each menu has a page a search engine can read.

  3. Title and description rewrite

Page titles and descriptions that state the vegetarian promise and the town, in a form that suits each page.

Result: Every page title names the trade and the place.

  4. Internal links between menus and the kitchen page

Links from each menu page to the kitchen story and to the booking route.

Result: A guest can move from a dish to a booking without going back.

  5. Search report read against the starting position

The first record of which searches show your pages, kept for comparison later.

Result: You can see which pages gained search appearances from the starting record.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Will SEO make us the first result?
We cannot promise a position. Search results depend on the engine, the competition and the searcher's location. We work on the pages and wording that give your restaurant a fair chance for the searches that match it.
Should we write in Hindi or the local language too?
If guests search in that language, yes. Write those pages as a native reader would speak, not as a translation of the English page, and keep the dish names the way your guests say them.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
