Food product wholesalers · Social media

Show the godown, the packing and the grade, and let buyers ask for the rate.

Social media marketing for a food product wholesaler is using Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and WhatsApp status to show your stock, packing and reliability to the kitchens, shops and traders who buy from you. GullySales works on what to show, which platform suits which buyer and how a post turns into a rate request.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For food product wholesalers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Your buyers are on WhatsApp and Facebook before Instagram”

A kirana owner or small caterer scrolls Facebook and WhatsApp status, and the purchase manager may be on LinkedIn. One post copied across every platform reaches none of them well, so each platform carries what that buyer wants.

  • “Stock shots tell a buyer more than a design”

A photograph of a stacked godown, a weighing scale and a cleaned grain sample shows a working wholesaler. A festive banner with a logo shows a printer's work, and a buyer scrolls past it.

  • “Festival demand is predictable and the posts are not planned”

Dry fruits, sugar, ghee and sweet ingredients rise before Diwali and other gifting festivals. Posts that go out after the shops have already stocked are read by buyers who have bought.

  • “A like is not an enquiry”

A post that earns taps but no rate request has done nothing for the trade. Every post needs one clear step, such as a WhatsApp message with the item name, so the response can be counted.

What we do

What we deliver for food product wholesalers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A content plan built around the commodities you move

A plan that follows your lines through the year, with the festival lines placed ahead of the buying window.

Result: A plan that lists what goes out for each line and when.

  2. Photographs and short videos from the godown

Guidance on shooting the stock, packing and loading on a phone, in a way that shows grade and cleanliness without staging.

Result: A set of real pictures from your own godown.

  3. A WhatsApp status routine for rate changes

A simple format for putting the day's rate or a new arrival on status, linked to the number the order is placed on.

Result: Regular buyers see the rate where they already look.

  4. A page or profile for each platform you use

Profiles on Facebook, Instagram or YouTube with the same name, address and contact as the invoice, and a pinned post on how to order.

Result: The profiles match each other and your invoice.

  5. A record of which posts brought messages

A log of rate requests that followed each post, set beside the record kept before the work began.

Result: You can see which posts are worth repeating.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Which platform should a wholesaler start with?
Start where your buyers already are. For retailers and caterers that is WhatsApp and Facebook. For hotel and institutional buyers a business page with a clear profile may matter more. We look at your own buyer list first.
Can we show our brand names and packs on social media?
Show what you handle, but follow the platform's current rules and any brand owner's terms on use of logos. Food advertising rules differ by profession and state, so check with your own adviser before making claims about quality or health.
Do we need to run paid ads?
Not at the start. Posts, status and your buyer list cost nothing but time. Paid reach can be added later for a festival line or a new area, once you can count the enquiries it brings.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
