Self-storage and storage facilities · Search engine optimisation

Be the page that answers what fits in a unit before the caller asks.

SEO for a storage facility means being found by the household that has a move in a week and types storage near me. GullySales builds a page for each unit size, each kind of tenant and each locality you serve, in plain words and with a phone that is answered.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For self-storage and storage facilities

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The search is local and urgent”

A person types storage near a named locality because a move is days away, and a page that does not name the locality never comes up. For example, a facility near Whitefield with only a home page and no Whitefield page is invisible to the engineer searching for it by name.

  • “Unit sizes mean nothing without a picture”

A caller does not think in square feet. They think in a two-bedroom flat, a sofa or forty boxes, and a page should say so.

  • “One page tries to speak to everyone”

A household, an online seller and an accountant need different answers and arrive from different searches.

What we do

What we deliver for self-storage and storage facilities.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each unit size

What fits in each size, shown by rooms, furniture and boxes, with the access width and a photograph of a real unit.

Result: A caller picks a size without guessing.

  2. A page for each kind of tenant

Separate pages for households, online sellers and traders, students, and offices with records, each answering that tenant's own questions.

Result: A visitor lands on a page written for them.

  3. A page for each locality served

Real distances, landmarks and the way in, written for each area and not copied from one to the next.

Result: A local searcher sees that you are close.

  4. A what-can-and-cannot-be-stored page

A plain list of items accepted and refused, and the reason, with the paperwork a tenant signs.

Result: A tenant knows what is refused before the day of the move.

  5. A move-in process page

The documents, the deposit, the visit and the lock, set out step by step.

Result: A person who has never rented storage knows how it works.

  6. Reporting by page and enquiry

Visits and enquiries for each page, against the baseline recorded before work starts.

Result: You know which page brought the tenant.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

What a tenant types when looking for storage, and the page that answers it.

storage space near [your locality]
A locality page. Give the road, the landmark and the distance from the nearest main junction, show unit sizes and add a button to call or WhatsApp. Say when someone will answer.
furniture storage for a month while shifting
A short-stay page. Explain minimum stay in general terms, what fits in each unit, how to load, and how to book a visit. Say plainly what happens to the deposit.
storage for online sellers or small business stock
A business page. Say how access works, whether a GST invoice is given, the loading area, and the notice period. A seller will ask these before price.
document storage for office records
A records page. Describe how files are stored, who can enter and how a file is retrieved. Name no fire or security standard you cannot document.
student luggage storage during vacation
A student page for the end of term. Keep it simple: sizes, how to book, ID needed and how a parent can pay. Link it from hostel and PG owners you work with.
what can I store in a storage unit
A rules page. List what is accepted and what is not, with a short reason. It answers a common question and shows a nervous first-time customer that you run the place carefully.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the search engine optimisation work runs

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a page for each locality?
One page for each place you can really serve, such as Whitefield or Hinjewadi, with the distance, the access road and landmarks. Do not copy the same page with the name changed. Search engines and visitors see through it.
Should we publish rates on the website?
Show what the price depends on, such as the unit size, the length of stay and the deposit, and invite a call for the current rate. Rates change, and a stale price online is worse than none.
Is a blog useful for storage?
A few useful pieces, such as how to pack a flat for storage or what cannot be stored, can bring people in. A long blog of generic posts will not. Write what your own staff are asked every week.
Do we need a page for each unit size?
Yes, if you have more than two or three sizes. A caller searching for a 50 sq ft unit wants that size, what drives its price and what fits, not a menu. A single facility needs one page per size, one per kind of tenant and one for each locality it truly serves, and no more.
Who owns the site and the domain?
You should, in your company's name, with the logins held by you. If a builder or agency owns it, a dispute can take your site down. Check this before signing anything.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
