Concrete block manufacturers · Follow up systems

Call each contractor when the next stage of the build is due, not when they phone.

A follow-up system for a block yard is the set of rules that decide who is called after a rate, after a delivery and before the next stage of a build. GullySales writes those rules into your enquiry record so a quote is followed up by a name and a day.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What follow up systems means

A follow-up system is the set routine for calling, messaging or emailing an enquiry more than once, since most buyers do not decide on the first conversation. GullySales sets the number and timing of follow-ups so an undecided buyer keeps hearing from you until they decide either way.

For concrete block manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A rate given and not followed up is a rate given to a rival”

The contractor asks three yards, hears three numbers and picks by whoever calls back. A short call the next day, asking if the quantity is final and when the truck is wanted, decides more orders than a small cut in price.

  • “A confirmed delivery day is a promise the contractor checks”

Saying tomorrow and arriving in two days costs the next order. A message the evening before, naming the truck and the time window, makes the delivery a commitment the yard has actually planned.

  • “The next stage of the build is the next order”

A wall that is finished means a floor is next, and then another wall. A call placed as the stage changes catches the contractor when the next order is being decided.

  • “Complaints deserve a call from the owner”

A broken load or a short count lingers in the contractor's mind. A prompt call, a clear remedy and a note in the record turn a complaint into evidence that the yard keeps its word.

What we do

What we deliver for concrete block manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A rate follow-up rule

A rule for who calls after a quote, what to ask and what to write down afterwards.

Result: Every quote has a named caller and a recorded outcome.

  2. A delivery confirmation message

A short message sent before a truck leaves, naming the load, the vehicle and the arrival window your yard can keep.

Result: The contractor receives a written confirmation for each delivery.

  3. A next-stage call plan

A list of active sites with the stage reached and a reminder to call when the next stage begins.

Result: The team can see which sites to call this week.

  4. A complaint handling note

A plain procedure for a broken load or short count: who calls, what is offered, and how it is recorded.

Result: Each complaint has a recorded call and a recorded remedy.

  5. A lapsed-buyer list

A list of masons and contractors who have not ordered recently, with a short, respectful call script.

Result: Quiet buyers are called, not forgotten.

How the result is measured

  • Follow-up completion rate
  • Average number of follow-ups before close
  • Enquiries closed after repeat follow-up

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these concrete block manufacturers.

  • Hollow concrete block yards serving local builders
  • Solid concrete block makers for compound walls and load-bearing work
  • Machine-based block plants with higher output
  • Yards that also make pavers, kerb stones and precast items
  • Manufacturers selling through building material dealers
  • Plants supplying apartment developers and large contractors
  • Small yards near growing peri-urban towns
  • Producers of lightweight or specialty blocks

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the follow up systems work runs

  1. 1

    Measure today's reply time

From last month's enquiries, we measure how long each waited for a first reply and how many follow-ups it got.

  2. 2

    Agree targets and the sequence

We set reply targets and the follow-up sequence with your team, based on its real hours and workload.

  3. 3

Set up templates, tasks and ownership

Templates, first-call questions, CRM tasks and named owners go live, with cover for leave and weekends.

  4. 4

    Track and adjust every month

Reply time and follow-up completion are reported against the baseline, and the routine is changed where it is not kept.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How soon after a quote should we call?
Call while the buyer is still deciding, which in this trade means the same day or the next. We set the rule with you according to how your buyers behave, rather than a fixed hour.
What if the contractor says they have already ordered elsewhere?
Thank them, ask what decided it and write the answer down. Do not argue the point. Call again when the next stage begins, because the reason given tells you what to fix.
Do reminders need software?
A shared sheet with a date column and a daily check works. Software helps when there are too many sites to scan by eye, but the habit of calling matters far more than the tool.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
