Cosmetic manufacturers · Social media

Show the factory behind the label so brand owners and trade buyers trust it.

Social media for a cosmetic manufacturer means showing the plant, the process and the products to founders, salon owners and distributors, not selling to shoppers. GullySales plans the posts, the profiles and the replies that turn views into briefs and trade enquiries.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For cosmetic manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The audience is the trade, not the shopper”

A brand owner choosing a maker scrolls LinkedIn and Instagram looking for evidence that a factory is organised. Posts written for consumers, with glowing skin and discount offers, speak to the wrong person and bring in the wrong comments.

  • “Confidentiality limits what you can show”

You may not name or picture client products without written consent. That leaves the process: mixing vessels, filling lines, label checks, packing tables. Real footage of work in progress carries trust and breaks no agreement.

  • “Contract and own-brand posts need separate accounts or clear sections”

If one profile mixes a founder-facing story with consumer product shots, neither audience knows what the page is for. Decide which profile serves which buyer and keep the other out of it.

  • “Claims in captions carry rules”

A caption that says a cream treats a skin condition is a claim, and rules for cosmetics differ by product and change over time. Describe what the product is and how it is made, and check any benefit wording with your own regulatory adviser.

What we do

What we deliver for cosmetic manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Profile set-up for the trade

LinkedIn and Instagram profiles that state what you make, for whom and how a brief starts.

Result: A visitor to the profile knows within a glance whether you are their kind of factory.

  2. Process-led post plan

A list of post ideas drawn from the plant: formulation steps, quality checks, packing, new equipment, product types.

Result: Your team has a list of posts that can be shot on a normal working day.

  3. Consent log for client material

A simple record of which client products or pack images may be shown, and in what form.

Result: No post goes out without a recorded yes.

  4. Reply and enquiry handling

Wording for comments and direct messages that moves a serious question to the brief form.

Result: Each message ends in a brief or a polite close, not silence.

  5. Own-brand trade posts

Separate posts for salons and distributors showing the finished range, pack sizes and ordering route.

Result: Trade buyers find the order route on the same post.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should a manufacturer be on Instagram or LinkedIn?
Both can serve, for different reasons. LinkedIn reaches founders and procurement people, while Instagram shows the plant and the packs to younger brand owners. Start with the one where your last good briefs came from.
Can we show a client's product in a post?
Only with their written consent. If a contract binds you to confidentiality, show the process and the formats instead. A log of what each client has allowed saves arguments later.
Do we need to run paid posts?
Not at the start. Organic posts show whether the plant story works. Paid reach makes sense once there is a brief form and a reply routine ready to receive the response.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
