Dairy producers · Buyer persona

Describe the shopkeeper, the purchase manager and the household as separate buyers.

A buyer persona for a dairy is a written portrait of one kind of buyer, covering what the buyer worries about, who else weighs in and what makes a first order happen. GullySales builds these from conversations with your sales team and your existing buyers, then uses them to shape outreach, content and follow-up.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For dairy producers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The booth owner buys on margin and reliability”

A shopkeeper stocking a pouch thinks about the margin per litre, the van arriving before the morning rush and what happens to milk left at closing. A message about brand heritage answers none of those questions, while a one-page scheme and return sheet answers all three.

  • “The hotel purchase manager buys on consistency”

For a kitchen, a surprise in fat content or a late van costs a morning's service. The purchase manager compares two or three dairies by sample, quoted rate and delivery record, and often needs the owner of the hotel to approve a change of supplier.

  • “The household has a payer, a drinker and a doubter”

The person who pays for milk, the child who drinks it and the grandparent who distrusts packaged milk are rarely the same. The doubter decides whether a new pouch is tried, so the persona must record that worry and the proof that answers it.

  • “The caterer buys in bursts”

A wedding caterer needs large volumes on fixed dates and a supplier who confirms in writing. A persona that treats the caterer like a regular household leaves out the confirmation and the buffer stock that decide the contract.

What we do

What we deliver for dairy producers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. One-page persona for each buyer

Booth owner, kirana owner, hotel purchase manager, sweet shop owner, caterer and household decision-maker, each described in plain words.

Result: The sales team can read a persona in a minute and use it on the next call.

  2. Worry and proof list

For every persona, the main worry and the document, sample or fact that answers it, such as a test record or a delivery log.

Result: Each claim in your outreach has something behind it.

  3. Buying moment map

The point at which each buyer starts looking for a new supplier or brand, such as a festival, a wedding season or a shop opening.

Result: Outreach lands when the buyer is already deciding.

  4. Language guide

Words the buyer uses for the product and the problem, taken from your sales team's own conversations.

Result: Copy sounds like the trade, not like an advertisement.

  5. Interview notes from your own buyers

Short conversations with existing booths and kitchens about why they chose and stayed.

Result: The personas rest on what your buyers said, not on assumption.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do we need a persona for every product?
A persona belongs to a buyer, not a product. The same booth owner may take milk, curd and paneer, so we add the product lines to the persona and note where the buying decision differs.
How do you build a persona without invented data?
From your sales team's call notes, your existing buyers and the enquiries you have received. We do not add market figures or invented quotes, and anything we are unsure of is marked as a question to test.
Why separate the household from the doubter?
Because the person who objects to packaged milk can stop a trial that the payer wanted. Knowing who raises the worry tells you which proof, such as a testing note, to put in front of whom.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
