Electroplating and surface finishing units · Social media

Show the finish on the part, and let a buyer see your line is run with care.

Social media for a plating unit means short posts and videos that show finished parts, the shop floor and the testing, in front of manufacturers who rarely post themselves. GullySales plans what to show, on which platform, and how a comment becomes a drawing request.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For electroplating and surface finishing units

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A plated part is easier to judge on a photograph than a paragraph”

A bright nickel-chrome handle or an even black oxide bolt shows quality in a glance. A buyer scrolling LinkedIn or Instagram stops on a clean photograph of work and passes over a general claim about plating.

  • “Engineers follow process videos”

A short clip of a rack going into a tank or a salt spray chamber being loaded shows the care that a drawing cannot. People in quality and purchase teams watch these, save them and send them on to colleagues.

  • “The comment is a lead only if someone answers it”

A fastener maker comments asking whether you do yellow passivation. If the reply comes late, from nobody in particular, the thread dies. One named person should own comments and messages.

  • “A customer's part is not yours to post”

Showing a buyer's component without consent can break a confidentiality understanding. The safe habit is to post parts that carry no marking, or to ask in writing before anything goes up.

What we do

What we deliver for electroplating and surface finishing units.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A plan for what the unit shows

A list of posts built from real work: finished lots, rack loading, thickness checks and a before-and-after on a worn part.

Result: The owner knows what to photograph on the shop floor each day.

  2. LinkedIn and Instagram profiles

Profiles that state the finishes, the industrial area and the way to send a drawing, with a link to the right page.

Result: A buyer who finds the profile knows what you plate and how to reach you.

  3. A short video format

A repeatable shape for a clip of a few seconds: the part, the process, the test, the result.

Result: The team can record a video without a script or a studio.

  4. A consent note for customer parts

A one-page note that says what may be posted, what needs written permission and what is never shown.

Result: Nobody on the floor has to guess before posting.

  5. A comment and message routine

A named person answers comments, moves drawings to WhatsApp and logs the enquiry with its source.

Result: Each social enquiry appears in your enquiry record with its finish.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do industrial buyers use social media at all?
Purchase and quality people do use LinkedIn, and engineers also watch process videos on YouTube and Instagram. They use these to check that a vendor is real and active, not to place an order, so the post should point to a page and a number.
We have no one to run this. What is the minimum?
One person who photographs finished lots and passes them to us, plus one person who answers messages. We write the captions and keep the plan. The plating work itself stays your own.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
