Electroplating and surface finishing units · WhatsApp marketing

Make WhatsApp the place a drawing arrives and a quote leaves, on a shared record.

WhatsApp marketing for a plating unit means using a business number to receive drawings and part photographs, send quotes and report on sample lots, with every chat logged. GullySales sets up the Business profile, the quick replies and the handover so no enquiry lives on one person's phone.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

For electroplating and surface finishing units

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The drawing arrives on a personal phone”

A buyer photographs a part and sends it to whichever number the owner gave at a fair. If that person is on leave or leaves the job, the chat leaves with them. A shared business number keeps the thread inside the unit.

  • “A buyer expects the first answer on the same chat”

Purchase people send a drawing and wait for a question back: material, quantity, finish and thickness. A standard set of questions saved as a quick reply gets the facts in one exchange instead of five.

  • “A quote buried in a chat cannot be found later”

A rate sent in a voice note or a long thread is hard to recover when the buyer returns. Writing the quote as one clear message, with the finish, the lot size and the basis, makes it a record that both sides can find.

  • “Broadcasts to every contact turn buyers away”

Sending a general message to every number saved in the phone looks like spam to a purchase head. A message about a new finish line sent to buyers who asked about that finish, with their consent, is read.

What we do

What we deliver for electroplating and surface finishing units.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business profile

Name, address, finishes, working hours and a catalogue of the finishes you run, with a link to the matching pages.

Result: A buyer who opens the chat sees a unit with a plating line, not a stranger.

  2. Quick replies for drawings and quotes

Saved replies that ask for material, quantity, finish and drawing revision, and a layout for a clear quote message.

Result: Each drawing gets the same set of questions.

  3. A shared inbox with labels

Chats labelled by finish and stage, with a named person on each. Where the volume asks for it, the WhatsApp Business API is set up.

Result: Anyone on the team can find an enquiry and see who owns it.

  4. A consent and broadcast rule

A short rule on whom the unit may message, how a buyer opts in and how to stop. Check the platform's current rules before sending any broadcast.

Result: Messages go only to buyers who have agreed to receive them.

  5. Hand-off into the enquiry record

Each new chat is entered with the finish, the source and the owner, so the chat and the record agree.

Result: A WhatsApp enquiry is counted alongside calls and IndiaMART leads.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is the free WhatsApp Business app enough for a plating unit?
For a small team, yes, with labels and quick replies. When several people need to answer from one number, or enquiries arrive in volume, the Business API with a shared inbox is the better fit. We look at your enquiry volume before suggesting it.
Can we send drawings and test reports on WhatsApp?
Yes, buyers already do. Keep a record of what was sent and to whom, and check the buyer's confidentiality terms first. Some OEMs ask for documents by email only, and the unit should follow that for those accounts.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
