Footwear manufacturers · Search engine optimisation

Rank for the article a wholesaler types, not only for the word footwear.

SEO for a footwear factory is the work of making your site the answer when a trader, supplier or brand searches for a shoe type, a sole or a contract maker. GullySales works on article pages, buyer questions and the technical basics that let those pages be read by search engines.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For footwear manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers search by article and material”

A trader types school shoes manufacturer, EVA slipper manufacturer or safety shoes supplier, and not 'footwear company'. A single home page cannot answer all of those. Each article family needs its own page that names the sole, upper and size run in the words a buyer uses.

  • “Cluster names carry weight”

Footwear is tied to places where it is made, and buyers add the place to the search. A factory that never mentions where it is based, or which clusters and states it supplies, gives search engines nothing to match.

  • “Photographs without text are invisible”

Showrooms post pictures of a hundred styles, and the page carries no words. A search engine cannot read a sole from a photograph. Alt text, article names and a short specification under each image are what turn a gallery into something findable.

  • “Safety and private label searches are different”

An industrial buyer searches for a standard and a toe-cap type. A brand searches for contract footwear manufacturer and minimum order. Both need pages that answer the question asked, with certificates and terms placed where the buyer will read them.

What we do

What we deliver for footwear manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Search keyword map by article and buyer

We list the phrases wholesalers, suppliers, brands and purchase teams use and assign each to one page, so pages do not compete with each other.

Result: A written map shows which page targets which phrase.

  2. Article family pages

Pages for each family, such as school shoes, sports shoes, sandals, slippers and safety boots, with specification, size run, colours and carton quantity.

Result: Every main article family has its own readable page.

  3. Cluster and territory wording

The places you manufacture in and supply to are written into the site where a buyer and a search engine will both find them.

Result: Your base and your supply states appear in plain text.

  4. Image and specification clean-up

Descriptive file names, alt text and a short spec line under each photograph in the catalogue.

Result: Each photograph carries words a search engine can read.

  5. Technical check

Page speed on a phone, mobile layout, broken links and sitemap are checked and fixed.

Result: A clean report you can read lists what was found and fixed.

  6. Private label and safety pages

Pages that answer minimums, sample rules, standards and certificates in the order a buyer asks them.

Result: A brand or purchase officer finds the answer without a call.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the search engine optimisation work runs

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Your brief

Tell us what you need, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps about your business, what you want and who decides. Most questions are a tap, and you can skip any you would rather answer on the call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How long before the site ranks?
We cannot state one. Ranking depends on competing factories, the age of your site and the pages we build. We set up the work, show you which pages target which searches, and check them against what buyers actually type.
Is SEO useful when our orders come through agents?
It still matters. A new trader who hears your name will search for it, and what they find decides whether they ring. A clear site also helps the agent, who can send a link instead of a phone photograph.
Do we need a blog?
Only if it answers a buyer's question, such as how to choose a sole for a wet floor or what a size run should include. Posts written to fill space do not bring traders. We start with article pages and add posts where a real question exists.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
