Industrial chemical manufacturers · Buyer persona

Know who signs, who specifies and who rings before you write a single message.

A buyer persona for an industrial chemical manufacturer describes the people inside a plant who raise, check and approve a purchase of your grade. GullySales works on mapping those roles, their questions and the reasons each one has for keeping or changing a vendor.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For industrial chemical manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The person who orders is not the person who decides”

A purchase executive places the order and a production head feels the stock-out. A quality manager checks the lot, and an owner approves new vendors. A message written for only one of them stalls when the others ask different questions.

  • “A trader and a plant want different things”

A trader asks for rate, credit and stock position. A plant asks for specification, consistency and dispatch reliability. One pitch used for both leaves each of them with half an answer, and the plant, which pays more over time, is the one who goes quiet.

  • “An export agent is a third kind of buyer”

An overseas importer or agent asks for drum or ISO tank lots, documents and shipping terms. The questions differ from a domestic plant and so does the proof needed. Treat this buyer as its own persona, with its own checks for a real application.

  • “Small units buy on trust and a phone call”

A small unit near your plant buys from the person it knows. It wants a reachable voice, a price it can repeat to the owner and delivery that matches what was said. Documents matter less to this buyer than a vendor who answers.

What we do

What we deliver for industrial chemical manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Role map for a consuming plant

A sheet naming each role in a plant that touches a purchase, what each asks, and what each fears.

Result: The sales team knows whom to address for what.

  2. Persona cards

One card for each buyer type: purchase executive, plant head, quality manager, trader, export agent and small unit owner.

Result: Each card states what the person asks, what they need to see and where they read.

  3. Message set by persona

A short opening note and follow-up for each persona, in plain words and with the facts that persona checks first.

Result: Outreach differs by reader, and a plant head and a trader do not get the same note.

  4. Lost-order review by persona

A reading of your recent lost and won orders to see which persona stalled or moved the deal.

Result: You can point to the role that blocked each lost order.

  5. Shared persona briefing

A one-page note for sales, dispatch and accounts so every team speaks to a buyer the same way.

Result: Anyone who picks up the phone has the same picture of the caller.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How do we learn who buys in a plant?
Ask during calls: who raises the request, who checks the lot, who approves a new vendor. Record the answers in your enquiry log. After several plants the roles repeat by industry and size, and the persona cards can be written from your own facts.
Do we need a persona for every industry we serve?
Start with the personas that differ in what they ask. A purchase executive in textile processing and in pharma intermediates share questions on grade and pack, and documents separate them. Group by role first and add an industry note where the proof required differs.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
