Knitting units · Social media

Show the hand and drape of your cloth where garment makers already scroll.

Social media marketing for a knitting unit means showing real fabric, machines and swatches on the channels where merchandisers and sourcing teams look, mainly LinkedIn, Instagram and WhatsApp status. GullySales plans what to post and records which posts lead to a swatch request.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For knitting units

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Fabric is judged by touch, so photographs must carry the feel”

A flat picture of a roll says little. A close shot of the loop structure, a stretch demonstration and the swatch held against light tell a designer more about drape and recovery than a caption can.

  • “LinkedIn reaches the person who signs the purchase”

Purchase heads and sourcing managers at export houses read LinkedIn. A unit that posts its constructions, machine count and process steps there is seen by the desk that decides.

  • “A machine-floor video builds more trust than a stock image”

Circular machines running, yarn cones loaded and a checking table are proof of a real unit. Buyers remember the knitter whose floor they have seen.

  • “Posting without a swatch offer wastes the reach”

A reader who likes a fabric post needs a way to ask. Every post that shows a fabric should say how to request the swatch card, or the attention goes nowhere.

What we do

What we deliver for knitting units.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A post plan built on your fabrics

A set of post ideas drawn from your constructions, seasons and processes, approved by the owner before use.

Result: A list of posts you can publish without inventing a topic.

  2. A photo and video routine for the floor

A simple guide for shooting fabric close-ups and machine clips on a phone in good light.

Result: Your own team can produce usable pictures.

  3. A LinkedIn company page set up for buyers

The page filled with constructions, location, contact route and a pinned swatch-card offer.

Result: A purchase head who finds the page sees what you knit.

  4. Swatch requests tagged to the post

Each request marked with the post or channel that prompted it.

Result: You see which posts brought a real ask.

  5. A rule for what never appears

A short list of things left off the channels, such as named buyers and unapproved rates.

Result: Staff know what is safe to post.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these knitting units.

  • Circular knitting units making single jersey, rib and interlock
  • Fleece and terry fabric knitters
  • Flat knitting units for sweaters, collars and cuffs
  • Warp knitting units for lace, net and technical fabric
  • Job-work knitters who knit customers' yarn
  • Hosiery and sock knitting units
  • Knitters supplying sportswear and activewear fabric
  • Units that knit and also dye, in a composite knit-and-process set-up

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is Instagram useful for a B2B knitter?
It suits fabric close-ups and reaches smaller labels and designers. Export houses sit more on LinkedIn and WhatsApp. We choose channels by who you want to reach, not by habit.
Can we post buyers' garments made from our cloth?
Only with the buyer's written agreement. Some brands bar it in their terms. Without agreement, show the fabric and the process, and leave the finished garment out.
Who runs the page after set-up?
Your team can, with the plan and the photo routine. We can also draft the posts for your approval. The owner stays the final reader before anything goes out.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
