Office furniture manufacturers · Buyer persona

Know who signs, who specifies and who keeps the chair in use.

A buyer persona for an office furniture manufacturer describes each person in a furniture decision: the facilities head, the purchase manager, the contractor, the designer and the government officer. GullySales works on writing down what each person asks, fears and needs to see before backing a vendor.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For office furniture manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The facilities head carries the move-in date”

This buyer is answerable for a floor that must be ready on a lease date. They ask about delivery plan, installation team and service after handover. A pitch about material grades without a delivery plan answers a question they did not ask.

  • “The purchase manager compares and negotiates”

This person receives several quotations in the same format and looks for the difference. They want vendor papers in order, a clear price basis and terms of payment. They rarely care how the chair feels, and rely on the facilities head for that.

  • “The contractor needs a margin and a finish match”

A fit-out contractor wants a price list that leaves room for the contractor's margin, finishes that match the design, and a factory that will not miss a date and embarrass them in front of the client.

  • “The government officer follows the specification”

A department buyer works from a written specification and a registration list. Their risk is a complaint about the process, so they favour the vendor whose papers and bid match the notice exactly.

What we do

What we deliver for office furniture manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Persona sheets for each decision-maker

A one-page sheet for the facilities head, purchase manager, contractor, designer and government officer, with their questions, worries and the proof each wants.

Result: Your sales team can tell which sheet applies before the first call.

  2. A map of who signs and who influences

A simple chart for a typical corporate floor showing who raises the requirement, who specifies, who prices and who approves payment.

Result: Your quotation reaches the person who decides, not only the person who asked.

  3. Talking points for each persona

Short answers to the questions each person asks, drawn from your own recent quotations and lost enquiries.

Result: A salesperson answers a purchase manager and a designer differently.

  4. A review of lost quotations by persona

Your last lost quotations sorted by the person who decided, to show where you were weak.

Result: You can see whether you lose to purchase teams, contractors or tenders.

  5. Pages and messages matched to each persona

Website sections and outreach notes written for each buyer type, using the words that buyer uses.

Result: A contractor and a facilities head each find a page written for them.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How long should the list of personas be?
One for each different person in your real decisions. For an office furniture maker that is five: facilities, purchase, contractor, designer and government. A longer list produces sheets nobody reads.
Where do we get the facts for a persona?
From your own quotations, call notes and lost enquiries, and from asking buyers who bought. Do not invent a persona from assumption. A sheet built on what real buyers said is useful, and one built on guesses misleads the team.
Can one person be two personas?
Yes. In a small company the administration manager may be both facilities head and purchase manager. Use both sheets in turn, and note which role the person is playing in each conversation.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
