Oil and gas service companies · Social media

Show planners and EPC buyers the crews and the safety culture behind your quote.

Social media for an oil and gas service firm means LinkedIn and YouTube used as a record of how your crews work, read by site engineers, planners and procurement teams who are already checking you out. GullySales works on what gets posted, who approves it and how a reaction turns into a conversation.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For oil and gas service companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A buyer checks the profile after the RFQ, not before”

A procurement officer who receives your offer opens the company page to see whether the firm is real and active. A page that last posted a Diwali greeting two years ago says the company has gone quiet, whatever the offer says.

  • “Site photographs are the strongest proof and the easiest to get wrong”

A photograph of a crew in a hydrotest or a blasting job shows competence, and also shows PPE, permits and the client's plant. One missing helmet or an unmasked client tank can cost more goodwill than the post earns.

  • “The planner follows people, not logos”

A maintenance planner at a refinery is more likely to read a post from the inspection lead explaining a repair method than a company banner. The people who do the work are the voice that a technical buyer trusts.

  • “Hiring posts double as a capability signal”

A post looking for certified rope access technicians or NDT Level II staff tells the market you are growing, and tells a buyer which skills you hold. It also fills the roster before the next shutdown.

What we do

What we deliver for oil and gas service companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page set up for buyers

The LinkedIn company page and a YouTube channel arranged so scope, certifications and operating regions sit where a procurement officer looks first.

Result: A visitor sees what you do and where you work without asking.

  2. A site-photo approval routine

A short checklist covering PPE, client permission, plant identifiers and the safety head's sign-off before any image from a job is posted.

Result: No photograph goes out that the client or your safety team would object to.

  3. A set of post types for the trade

Repeatable formats such as a method explained by the engineer, a completed job with the client's permission, a certification renewal and a new equipment arrival.

Result: The page has a plan, not a scramble before the next trade event.

  4. Profiles for your technical leads

Guidance for the inspection head, the shutdown manager and the HSE officer to keep their own profiles current and to share company posts.

Result: Buyers meet named people they can picture on site.

  5. A reaction log

A sheet that records who liked, commented or sent a message, which company they belong to, and who in your team picks up the conversation.

Result: A comment from a planner reaches a person who calls back.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we post photographs from a client's plant?
Only with the client's permission and your safety head's approval. Operators restrict photography inside the plant, and some contracts forbid it. Ask first, keep plant names and tags out of the frame when told to, and check the client's current rules.
Is it worth running a YouTube channel for an NDT or scaffolding firm?
Short method videos suit a trade where the buyer wants to see how the work is done. A walkthrough of an inspection set-up or a scaffold build is useful to a planner. Start with a handful of clear videos, not a schedule.
Should the owner post personally or only the company page?
Both have a job. The company page holds certifications and job records, and the owner's profile carries the opinions and introductions that start conversations. A buyer who meets you at Petrotech will look for the person first.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
