Rice mills · Content marketing

Write what a trader needs to judge your rice before the sample arrives.

Content marketing for a rice mill is the practice of writing down what the mill knows about grain, grades and supply so buyers can judge it without a visit. GullySales works with the owner to turn that floor knowledge into guides and sheets.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For rice mills

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The owner knows more than the website says”

The person running the mill can tell raw from parboiled by feel and knows what ages well in storage. None of that is written down. A buyer comparing two mills reads whatever each one has published.

  • “Buyers need a way to compare grades”

A caterer choosing between two grades has no simple way to judge cooking behaviour, rice-to-water ratio or which dish suits it. A plain guide to each grade removes the guesswork and makes the mill look knowledgeable.

  • “Seasonal content matches seasonal buying”

Festival kitchens, wedding halls and hostel terms each have their buying moments. A note timed before those moments reaches the buyer while the order is still being decided.

What we do

What we deliver for rice mills.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Grade guides

One short guide per grade covering grain, cooking behaviour and suited uses, written in plain words.

Result: A buyer can read a guide and describe the grade back correctly.

  2. A how-to-order sheet

A page explaining bag sizes, how to ask for a sample, and what the office needs from the buyer.

Result: A new buyer can place an enquiry without a phone call first.

  3. Seasonal notes for caterers and trusts

Short pieces ahead of festival and wedding periods, covering supply and sample arrangements.

Result: A note is written before each festival buying period.

  4. Mill story and process page

A page describing how paddy becomes packed rice at your mill, with real photographs.

Result: The page uses the mill's own pictures and the owner's words.

  5. A forwardable PDF and WhatsApp card

A compact version of each grade guide made to be passed along between traders.

Result: The card reads clearly on a phone screen.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for these rice mills.

  • Raw rice mills supplying town grain markets
  • Parboiled rice mills for southern and eastern households
  • Basmati and steamed rice processors
  • Brand pack rice mills selling to supermarkets and kirana distributors
  • Custom milling units working on a farmer or trader's paddy
  • Modern rice mills with sorting and polishing lines
  • Mills supplying hostels, caterers and institutional kitchens
  • Mills selling rice bran and by-products alongside rice

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the content marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Confirm the plan

Topics and formats for the coming month are confirmed against the content strategy.

  2. 2

    Produce and review

Content is written or filmed, then reviewed by someone who knows your trade before it goes out.

  3. 3

    Publish and distribute

Finished content is published to the site and pushed through the channels your buyers actually use.

  4. 4

    Track enquiries

Enquiries are traced back to content where a direct line exists, and reported honestly where it does not.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

We report results and adjust the next topics based on what actually worked.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a blog?
A blog is one form. Grade guides, an ordering page and a forwardable card are more useful to a trade buyer. Add articles only when you have something to say that a buyer would search for.
Who writes the content?
The owner or the quality person supplies the knowledge and GullySales writes it up, then the owner checks it. Nothing is published that the mill has not read and confirmed.
Can we make claims about the rice's health value?
Keep to facts about grain and cooking. Food advertising rules differ by state and may change, so check any health or nutrition wording with your own food-law adviser before publishing.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
