Sofa manufacturers · Social media

Post the sofa in the room it was made for, not the workshop it was cut in.

Social media marketing for a sofa maker is the use of Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest to show finished sofas in real rooms until a viewer asks for a price. GullySales works on what gets photographed, how each post is captioned, and what happens when a message arrives.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For sofa manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A sofa photographed alone says little”

A sofa on a white background shows the shape and hides the scale. The viewer wants to see it against a wall, beside a side table, with a rug and a window, because that is the room they are trying to picture their own in.

  • “Process content shows what a buyer cannot see”

The frame, the joints, the foam layers and the stitching vanish under the upholstery. Short posts about the build, with the maker's hand in the shot, answer the question a buyer is shy to ask: what is inside it.

  • “Comments asking the price are not enquiries yet”

People write the word price under a post and expect a number. A set reply that asks for the wall length and fabric preference, and moves the chat to WhatsApp, turns a comment into a conversation with something to quote on.

  • “Festival months change what people save”

Before a festival, viewers save posts of living rooms for guests; after the move into a new flat, they save bedrooms and offices. Plan the content around the room a buyer is about to furnish, not around what is easiest to photograph.

What we do

What we deliver for sofa manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Finished-room shoot plan

A list of rooms, angles and close-ups to photograph at delivery, with the owner's permission, so posts do not depend on the workshop floor.

Result: Every delivered sofa has photographs ready for use.

  2. Caption and reply guide

Wording for captions and for the standing reply to a price comment, in your voice.

Result: A price comment gets a reply that asks for the room measurements.

  3. Build-process posts

Short videos and photographs of frame, foam and stitching, labelled with what is being done and why.

Result: A buyer can see the frame wood before ordering.

  4. Instagram profile and highlights

A profile with a clear bio, a link to the quote form and highlights sorted by sofa type and fabric.

Result: A visitor to the profile reaches the quote form in one tap.

  5. Pinterest and Facebook placement

Boards and posts for the buyers who plan rooms on Pinterest and the families who ask for recommendations on Facebook.

Result: Your finished rooms sit where room planners already look.

  6. Message handling routine

A rule for who answers messages, what they ask and when they hand over to the showroom.

Result: No message sits unanswered over a festival weekend.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a reel every day?
No. A steady run of well-made posts of finished rooms does more than a daily scramble. We plan around the pieces you deliver and the rooms you can photograph with permission.
Can we show a customer's home?
Only with the customer's consent, and without personal items or name plates in view. Ask before posting and keep a written note of the yes.
Should we boost posts?
Boost posts where the room and the offer are clear, and when you can answer the messages. Check the platform's current rules on advertising furniture and on how products are shown.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
