Valve manufacturers · Manufacturing
Get on the approved vendor list before the RFQ goes out.
A purchase executive at an EPC firm in Pune receives a valve schedule with sixty line items, each with size, rating, body material and end connection. The schedule goes by email to six manufacturers on the approved list. A maker whose name is not on that list does not see the document.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph
A valve manufacturer makes the gate, globe, ball, butterfly and check valves that control flow in plants, pipelines and buildings. Marketing puts your range in front of consultants, EPC firms and plant purchase teams who build vendor lists. Sales turns an RFQ into an order.
A valve maker can be strong on the foundry and the test bench and still be unknown to the people who write the list. Small valves move through distributors in the industrial market, while larger orders go through RFQs, drawings and certificates.

How buyers decide
How valve manufacturers are chosen.
Large orders begin with a specification. A process consultant or the end user lists acceptable manufacturers on a vendor list, and the EPC or plant purchase team requests quotes from those names. Approval depends on drawings, past supply, material test certificates and, for some buyers, a visit to the works. Rules and standards differ by industry and customer and change, so the buyer's own specification decides what must be shown.
Smaller and repeat orders go through distributors and traders in the industrial market. A plumber, a maintenance contractor or a small factory asks for a size, a material and a pressure, and the trader supplies whichever brand is on the shelf at a price that can be defended.
Repeat business follows delivery and paperwork. A maker who sends the right certificates with the consignment, answers a query clearly and replaces a faulty piece without argument is easier to keep on the list.
The problem
What usually goes wrong for valve manufacturers.
What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.
“We are good, but nobody on the vendor list knows us”
Consultants specify the names they have seen before. Our foundry has done the work, but no consultant has seen our drawings.
“RFQs arrive as long spreadsheets and we answer slowly”
Each line needs a material, a rating and a price, and the quote goes out after the purchase team has moved to the next vendor.
“Our website lists valve types and nothing a buyer can check”
No size range, no material options, no datasheet to download, so the purchase engineer closes the tab.
“Traders lead with the brand that is easiest to sell”
A trader in the industrial market recommends what is on the counter and priced on a sheet, and we are on neither.
“Old quotes are forgotten”
There is no record of who asked for what, so follow-up on old quotes never happens and a repeat buyer drifts to another quote.
“Export enquiries come in without a way to qualify them”
A foreign buyer's email asks for a price with no drawing or quantity, and the team spends effort on a quote that cannot be priced.

Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
- You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
- You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.
How it works
From your first message to the first report.
No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.
First
Your brief
You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.
After the brief
A conversation and a written scope
We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.
Before work starts
Baseline recorded
The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.
After the baseline
The first fix goes live
The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.
As agreed
Report against the baseline
What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.
At renewal
Renew on the numbers
The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.
How the work runs for valve manufacturers
- 1
Sort the RFQs received
Where enquiries come from, how quotes are prepared and what happens to a quote after it is sent are written down.
- 2
Write the vendor-list pack and family pages
Documents and web pages built from your own datasheets, test practice and past supply.
- 3
Log every quote
A log of every quote, a named owner and a note on what the buyer is waiting for at each stage.
- 4
Approach list-writers, then traders
Outreach starts with the people who write vendor lists and moves to the traders who stock.
- 5
Split orders by customer type
Enquiries, quotes and orders are split by consultant, EPC, trader and export, which shows the customer type that pays.
Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

Option 4
Guidance for your own team or agency
We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.
