Waterjet cutting companies · Buyer persona

Know the fabricator, the stone dealer and the designer as three different buyers.

A buyer persona for a waterjet shop is a written picture of the person who sends the drawing: what they cut, what they worry about and how they decide. GullySales works on building those pictures from your own enquiries and past jobs so every page and message speaks to a real buyer.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What buyer persona means

A buyer persona is a plain description of the kind of customer who actually buys from you. It includes what they search, what worries them and who else they ask before deciding. GullySales builds this from real enquiries and past sales rather than a generic template, then uses it to write every page and advert.

For waterjet cutting companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The fabrication owner worries about heat and rework”

This buyer has a part that distorts under a laser, or a plate too thick for plasma to leave a clean edge. They want a clean edge and a quote that does not take a day. They choose the shop that asks about the grade and the weld to follow.

  • “The stone dealer worries about breakage and pattern”

A dealer sends an expensive slab and a pattern a client has approved. Breakage and alignment are the fears. They choose the shop that explains the risk in writing and shows inlay it has already cut.

  • “The designer worries about the finished look”

An interior designer wants the screen, the floor panel or the lettering to match the render. They care about edge quality and sample pieces. They choose the shop that returns a sample and answers by message.

  • “The purchase executive worries about a record”

In a larger company the person ordering must justify the supplier. They want a quote with the basis written, a file receipt and a delivery note. They choose the shop whose paperwork matches what they must file.

What we do

What we deliver for waterjet cutting companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Three or four written personas

A one-page profile for each buyer type, built from your enquiries, with their material, worry, words and route to you.

Result: Anyone writing for the shop knows who they are writing to.

  2. A question list for each persona

The questions each buyer asks before sending a file, taken from calls and messages you have received.

Result: Pages answer the questions buyers genuinely ask.

  3. A message map by persona

Which channel and which opening line suit each buyer, from a designer's photograph to a purchase executive's quotation.

Result: Outreach changes with the reader.

  4. A review of past accounts

A look at your repeat customers to see which persona they match and what first brought them in.

Result: You know which buyer type is worth the most.

  5. A short interview guide

Five questions to ask a regular customer about why they chose and stayed with the shop.

Result: You hear the buyer's reasons in the buyer's words.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiry match to persona
  • Conversion rate by persona
  • Content aligned to persona

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the buyer persona work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the current view

We start with how your team currently describes the customer, since the gap between belief and reality is often the finding itself.

  2. 2

    Audit past enquiries and sales

We look at recent enquiries and closed deals to see who actually bought, not who was assumed to buy.

  3. 3

    Interview customers and staff

Short, structured conversations surface the real language, worries and triggers behind a purchase.

  4. 4

    Build the personas

Findings are written into short, usable persona documents rather than a long report.

  5. 5

    Apply to your marketing

We show exactly where each persona should change a page, an ad or a script you already have.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

How do we build a persona without customer data?
Start with your last few months of enquiries and your regular accounts. Note the material, the sender's job and what they asked first. The patterns give enough to write from, and we refine them as enquiries come in.
Should every buyer type get a separate page?
Separate pages work when the worries differ, as they do between stone dealers and fabricators. Where two buyers worry about the same thing, one page can serve both.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
