Electrical equipment manufacturers · WhatsApp marketing

Reach the electrician and the dealer on the phone they already read.

WhatsApp marketing for an electrical equipment maker means using the Business app or the API to send dealers scheme news, electricians installation help and contractors drawings, with consent. GullySales sets up the catalogue, the lists and the reply rules, and checks the platform's current rules before any campaign.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

For electrical equipment manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The file travels further than the call”

A contractor in a plant room wants a datasheet on the phone. A link to a locked page is ignored, while a one-page PDF with the rating table is forwarded to the purchase manager within the same conversation.

  • “The dealer group is the real notice board”

Dealers read scheme news in a group next to rate talk and stock queries. A message that runs long or mixes two schemes is misread, and the counter staff act on the misreading.

  • “Electricians trust a voice and a picture”

A short clip in the local language showing how to wire or reset a product is passed between electricians on site. A long English text is not. Warranty registration by sending a photo of the carton code suits the same habit.

  • “Unwanted messages cost you the number”

Adding a consultant to a broadcast without asking leads to blocks and reports, and a business number can be restricted. Consent comes first, and the platform's current rules decide what may be sent and how.

What we do

What we deliver for electrical equipment manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business profile and catalogue built for the trade

Description, works address, product families and datasheet links, set up so a contractor who messages sees what you make at once.

Result: The first message gets a useful reply.

  2. Separate lists for dealers, electricians and contractors

Each list with consent recorded, territory noted and a rule on who may send to it.

Result: A dealer scheme never reaches a consultant.

  3. Message templates for recurring situations

Scheme announcements, new item codes, stock arrival, quotation sent, sample dispatched and warranty registered, short and in the market's language.

    Result: Salesmen send approved wording.

  4. Saved replies and an enquiry route

Answers for datasheet requests, dealer addresses and service points, and a rule that moves a project enquiry to the right salesman.

Result: No enquiry waits on a personal phone.

  5. Electrician clips and warranty registration

Short installation clips and a simple route for sending the carton code, so the electrician joins your list with consent.

Result: Your electrician list grows from people who agreed.

  6. Conversations tied to the tracker

Chats linked to the project or dealer record in your CRM, so a reply is not lost inside a thread.

Result: You can see which messages led to orders.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What to capture or send

Send these messages, each with a record behind it.

Datasheet and certificate to a consultant
The file named with the product family and rating, sent after a call. Recorded on the project, so the consultant's reply is attached to the right make list.
Stock and scheme note to the dealer group
What is available, the scheme dates and the order route. Posted by one person, with the stock confirmed by the factory first.
Installation clip for the electrician
A short video of the fitting, with the product code in the first line. Electricians forward a clip to the next site, so the code has to stay with it.
Warranty registration message
A reply asking for the product code, the site and the date of fitting. It records who used the product and where, which the factory otherwise never sees.
Opt-in record
The name, number, role and date they agreed to receive. Kept by the marketing owner, so dealers and electricians are never added without asking.

Who it is for

This is written for these electrical equipment manufacturers.

  • LT and control panel builders
  • Switchgear, MCB and distribution board manufacturers
  • Wire and cable manufacturers
  • Switch, socket and modular accessory makers
  • LED luminaire manufacturers for industrial and commercial use
  • Architectural, façade and decorative lighting makers
  • Street and area lighting manufacturers supplying municipal tenders
  • Transformer, stabiliser and power equipment makers
  • Fan, motor and small electrical appliance manufacturers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your salesmen use personal numbers for every dealer and contractor, and the factory would lose each history when one leaves.
  • Stock figures and scheme dates are not confirmed before they are posted, and a dealer group would act on a message you then correct.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we use the WhatsApp Business app or the API?
The Business app suits a small dealer network and a handful of salesmen. When several staff must answer from one number, or messages go out in volume from templates, the API through a provider is the route. We choose after looking at your enquiry load and team.
Can we add dealers and electricians to a broadcast list without asking?
No. Ask each person, record the consent and give them a way to leave. Contacts who have not saved your number may not receive broadcasts at all. Check the platform's current rules before you send, since they change.
Should salesmen use their personal numbers?
Use a company number for anything carrying a quotation or a scheme, so the history stays with you when a salesman moves on. Personal numbers carry relationships, but the project record belongs in the tracker. Agree the rule with the team before the first campaign.
How do we handle a dealer who forwards our scheme to a rival's territory?
State in the scheme message which territory it covers and who to ask for details, and keep each territory's dealers in their own list. Forwarding cannot be stopped, but a message that names the territory makes an out-of-area order easy to refuse.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
