Industrial equipment manufacturers · Lead generation

Bring in RFQs for the specifications you can actually fulfil well.

Lead generation for an industrial manufacturer means attracting RFQs for the specifications and sectors you serve well, rather than generic enquiries outside your capability.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Realistic editorial illustration of industrial equipment manufacturers at work in India

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For industrial equipment manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Specification targeting filters better than broad targeting”

Content built around specific capacities and certifications attracts buyers more likely to convert.

  • “Trade show follow-up is a source often wasted”

Contacts collected at exhibitions frequently go unfollowed, losing enquiries that already showed real interest.

  • “Export enquiries need their own approach”

International buyers search and evaluate differently, often through trade platforms rather than local search.

What we do

What we deliver for industrial equipment manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Specification-targeted landing pages

Pages built around specific capacities and certifications, designed to attract RFQs from buyers likely to convert.

Result: Enquiries arrive already matched to what you can actually supply.

  2. Trade show contact follow-up process

A written process for following up every contact collected at an exhibition within your own working week.

Result: An exhibition contact who already showed interest is not left unfollowed.

  3. Export enquiry capture and routing

A separate enquiry path for international buyers, routed to whoever handles export documentation and terms.

Result: An export enquiry reaches the person equipped to answer it.

  4. Directory and paid presence for priority categories

Directory listings and, where useful, paid placement built around the machine categories worth the spend.

Result: Visibility is added where it is most likely to bring a real RFQ.

  5. RFQ volume and source report

A report against your baseline showing RFQ volume, source and category.

Result: The owner sees which category and channel are producing enquiries.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where enquiries come from

The places an equipment maker's enquiries arrive, and what to record at each.

RFQ through the website
Record the company, the machine, the capacity and the country or state. Ask for the application and the material handled, as these decide the specification.
IndiaMART or directory enquiry
Log the buyer, the product and the quantity. Ask whether a drawing exists, and whether the buyer is an end user, a trader or an engineer.
Exhibition lead card
Write the visitor, the plant and the machine discussed on the card the same evening. Send the technical sheet and set a date to call.
Export enquiry by email
Record the country, the voltage, the certification and the Incoterm asked for. Reply with your standards and the shipping terms, and log the buyer.
Spares enquiry quoting a serial number
Match the serial number to the machine, the sale date and the customer. A spares order is also a service enquiry, so check the machine's age and offer a visit.
Channel partner or OEM buyer's request
Note the partner, the product and the volume. Confirm who the end user is and the territory, so two partners do not quote the same plant.

Who it is for

This is written for these industrial equipment manufacturers.

  • CNC machine and precision equipment manufacturers
  • Industrial pump and compressor manufacturers
  • Packaging machinery manufacturers
  • Conveyor and material handling equipment makers
  • Motor and drive manufacturers
  • Custom fabrication and job-work manufacturers
  • Export-oriented industrial equipment makers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the lead generation work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

  • Burhani Hydroline

    Situation
The website was dated. Menus were hard to follow, pages were slow, and it did not work properly on a phone, which is where a buyer looks first.
    What we did
    • Research before design
    • Wireframes and prototypes
    • The full product catalogue
    • An online checkout
    Result
No numbers were recorded for this engagement. The work is described in full in the case study.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How many RFQs should a manufacturer expect monthly?
This depends heavily on category and competition; we set a realistic target after we have read your brief and spoken to you.
Will RFQs come from our own site, or do we still need the directories?
Your own specification pages bring RFQs from search without a listing fee behind them. Directories such as IndiaMART still earn their place in the machine categories where buyers start there, so we keep both running and report which one sent each RFQ.
An enquirer asks for a drawing before telling us the application. Do we send it?
Send a general datasheet, and ask for the application, the material and the capacity before a drawing. A drawing sent early may be passed to a competitor for copying. Record what you sent. Share detailed drawings once the buyer has named the project.
How do we tell a trader's RFQ from an end user's?
Ask the plant name and the use of the machine. An end user can answer. A trader might not, or says the buyer is confidential. Quote traders a dealer price and record them as such, and give end users the technical call.
How is this different from a general B2B marketing agency?
We write for the engineer's search, not the brand story. A buyer looking for a press wants the tonnage, stroke length and certification on the page, and a quotation within the RFQ window. The follow-up then runs through a cycle that can last months.
Do you help with trade show and exhibition presence?
We can build the material and follow-up process for exhibitions; the stand and attendance decisions stay with you.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
