Water treatment solutions providers · WhatsApp marketing

The enquiry arrives as a photo of a scaled tap and needs a figure back.

For a water treatment company WhatsApp is where the symptom arrives, where the test report is sent and where the service call is booked. The complaint often starts in an apartment's own group. GullySales sets up the account, the replies and the rules for what may be broadcast.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

For water treatment solutions providers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The first message is a photograph of a tap or a kettle”

White crust on a shower head, a ring inside the kettle, a brown patch in the overhead tank. The reply that wins says what causes it and offers to test a sample. A brochure sent back loses the enquiry.

  • “The complaint starts in the owners' group before it reaches you”

Somebody posts a photo of the water in the apartment's group and twenty families agree with the post. The person to reach is the secretary, and the message that works is an offer to test from the sump, not a price list.

  • “Broadcasts belong to service, not to offers”

A message saying the technician is on the way, or that the salt is due, gets read and thanked for. A festival greeting sent to a factory's maintenance head gets you muted. Send the first kind and nothing else.

What we do

What we deliver for water treatment solutions providers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business account set up for enquiries and service

Verified account carrying the address, hours, the range of plants you supply and a greeting that says what happens next.

Result: A photograph sent at night gets an answer rather than silence.

  2. Replies written for the common symptoms

Short answers for scale, odour, a brown deposit, a salty taste and a failing purifier, each ending in an offer to test the water.

Result: Whoever is on the phone answers properly the first time.

  3. Test reports sent as a readable document

The analysis formatted so it opens cleanly on a phone, with the figures explained in a line each rather than a laboratory sheet.

Result: A committee can forward your report and be understood.

  4. Service booking handled on the same number

Existing customers able to raise a complaint and get a visit scheduled on the number they already have, with the request logged against the site.

Result: The service call is recorded rather than lost in a chat.

  5. Consent recorded before anybody joins a list

Who agreed to receive service and due-date notices, held with the site record, with a simple way to stop them.

Result: The channel stays useful because nobody feels marketed at.

  6. Enquiries and reply times pulled from the account

How many enquiries arrive here, how fast each was answered and what became of it, reported alongside your other sources.

Result: The channel that brings the most work stops being the unmeasured one.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What a water treatment company settles before service chats and test reports go on WhatsApp.

A sales number and a service number
Register WhatsApp Business on a company number, and decide whether service has its own, so a complaint about a scaled geyser is not buried under a new-plant enquiry. Print both on the invoice and the service sticker.
Consent on the installation form
Add a tick line to the installation and AMC forms: 'Send service reminders and test reports on WhatsApp'. Record the number, site and date. Apartment association members who joined a group are not on your list.
Catalogue of problems, not products
List the symptoms the customer sees, such as hardness, iron, odour or salinity, with the type of treatment that addresses it and 'needs a water test'. Do not promise a result before the report.
Templates for service and AMC notices
A service visit reminder or an AMC renewal note you start yourself needs an approved template. Check WhatsApp's current business policy and pricing before planning volumes for the summer complaint season.
Reports as documents
Send the test report as a readable PDF with the sample date, the site and the lab, and never as a photograph of a printout. Keep a copy in the customer record so that the AMC comparison later is possible.
Apartment groups and the opt-out
Do not post offers in a society's group. Answer the person who writes to you, one to one. Each list message carries a reply word to stop, and removal is recorded on the day it arrives.

Who it is for

This is written for these water treatment solutions providers.

  • Residential water purifier and softener dealers
  • Apartment and gated community water treatment providers
  • Industrial effluent treatment plant providers
  • Commercial RO plant suppliers
  • Borewell water treatment specialists
  • Hotel and hospitality water treatment providers
  • Swimming pool water treatment companies
  • Packaged drinking water plant manufacturers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Staff use personal numbers and chats cannot be shared, so a business number would hold half the conversation.
  • Nobody can reply to a photograph of a tap on the day it arrives, so the first message would sit unread.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should sales and service share one WhatsApp number?
One number for the customer, split behind the scenes. A facility manager should not have to remember which number gets a breakdown attended to. What matters is that a service message reaches a technician and a new enquiry reaches a sales person, without either waiting behind the other.
How do we cope with the summer rush of borewell complaints?
Prepare the replies and the survey slots before it starts. The messages are the same every year: hard water, a smell, scale on everything. Have the answers written, keep survey capacity free for those weeks, and tell people honestly when you can come rather than leaving them unanswered.
A resident sends a photograph of brown water and asks whether it is safe to drink. What do we reply?
Say that you cannot judge safety from a photograph. Ask when it started and whether it is tank, borewell or supply water, advise the customer not to drink it until tested, and offer a sample collection and a visit. Do not name a cause in chat.
Can we share our test reports from other sites to show results?
Only with the site owner's written permission, and with names, addresses and nameplates removed. Say the result belongs to that water source and cannot be assumed for the customer's. A report from another society can mislead a buyer whose water is different.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
