Chambers of commerce · CRM

One record for each member, hall hirer and sponsor, kept where the office can see it.

A CRM for a chamber of commerce is the single record of every member, prospect, hall hirer, guest and sponsor, with the history of each conversation. GullySales works on setting up that record, moving the register and the diary into it and agreeing who updates what.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What CRM means

A CRM is the record where every enquiry, call and quote is kept against a customer, replacing separate notebooks, spreadsheets and memory. GullySales sets up or cleans an existing CRM and reports from it by enquiry outcome rather than by activity logged.

For chambers of commerce

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The register lives in several files”

Members sit in an accounts spreadsheet, hall bookings in a diary book, event guests on sign-in sheets and sponsors in the president's phone. A renewal is missed because the person who knows the member is not the person who sends the reminder.

  • “Memory leaves with the clerk”

When a long-serving clerk retires, the knowledge of which member prefers a call and who attended the last delegations goes too. A record holding those notes survives a change of staff and a change of committee.

  • “Consent needs a place to be written”

Member details are personal data. Who agreed to receive WhatsApp circulars, who asked to be removed and who allowed a photograph in the newsletter must be recorded somewhere. A shared record holds that, and scattered files do not.

What we do

What we deliver for chambers of commerce.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Record structure

Fields for trade, size band, join year, renewal date, contact role, consent and source.

Result: A field list the committee approves before any data moves.

  2. Data move

Member register, hall diary and guest lists cleaned and loaded into one tool, with duplicates marked for the office to resolve.

Result: One list in which each business appears once.

  3. Tool comparison

Tools in ordinary use in India, set against the office's skills and budget.

Result: A recommendation with reasons, for the committee to decide.

  4. Access sheet

Who adds records, who edits them and who only reads, with the secretary-general as owner.

Result: A one-page list of who may do what.

  5. Consent field and export

Consent recorded for each member, and a way to export the whole record to the chamber.

Result: An export file the chamber holds itself.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries logged in the CRM
  • Data completeness
  • Reports generated from CRM data

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the CRM work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Map the sales process

We record how a deal actually moves from enquiry to close in your business today.

  2. 2

    Configure stages and fields

The CRM's pipeline and fields are built to match that process exactly, not a generic template.

  3. 3

    Set up automations

Reminders, assignment rules and follow-up triggers are configured so routine steps happen without manual effort.

  4. 4

    Test with real deals

We run the configuration against actual current deals to catch gaps before the whole team relies on it.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales management. A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3 · you are here

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need paid software?
Not necessarily. A well-kept shared sheet suits a small chamber, while a CRM tool suits one with several products and several staff. We look at the size of the office and recommend, and you decide.
Who owns the data in the CRM?
The chamber does. The record is kept where you can export it, and access is limited to named people at the office.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
