Astrologers · Email marketing

Email is how the family that moved abroad stays your family.

For an astrologer email matters most with families living outside India, where WhatsApp timing is awkward and a booking needs a written confirmation. GullySales sets up the consultation confirmations, the annual panchanga note and the occasion reminders families have agreed to, and keeps the list private.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For astrologers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Time zones make email the kinder channel”

A message at your working hour lands at two in the morning for a family in New Jersey. Email waits for them.

  • “A booking abroad needs paper”

The time in both zones, the payment receipt and the call link have to sit in one place a family can find again.

  • “Occasions repeat, and you know them”

A family whose daughter married two years ago may need a naming consultation next, and only your own record knows that.

What we do

What we deliver for astrologers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Confirmation mails for consultations booked

Date and time in both zones, the call link, the fee paid and what the family should keep ready, sent as soon as a booking is made.

Result: Nobody misses a sitting over a time zone.

  2. An annual panchanga note for the new year

A short piece on the regional new year and the year's main festivals, sent to families who have asked to hear from you.

Result: Your name reaches the family before the festival week does.

  3. Occasion reminders sent with consent

A private record of each family's occasions, with a quiet reminder only where the family has agreed to be contacted about them.

Result: The next consultation is offered without anybody feeling chased.

  4. A reconnect mail to families you have not heard from

A respectful note to families you consulted years ago, mentioning the occasion you last helped with and leaving the next step to them.

Result: Old families come back rather than search again.

  5. A private list with consent recorded

Addresses kept out of shared spreadsheets, consent noted, and an unsubscribe on every mail, since these families trusted you with personal matters.

Result: Families stay on the list because they choose to.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What an astrologer needs in place before emailing families.

Consent asked separately from the reading
Birth details are given for a reading. At booking, ask whether the family also wants occasion reminders or a yearly panchanga note, and write the answer beside their name. No answer means no mail.
Birth details and charts kept out of the mailing tool
A kundli is private to the family. The mailing tool holds a name, an address and the occasion, and nothing else. Send a chart only to the person who booked, from your own mail, not through a campaign.
Families abroad listed with their city and time zone
A written confirmation should state the consultation time in the family's own time zone as well as yours. Note their country on the list so no one books a call at an impossible hour.
The language the family used with you
Write in the language the family spoke at the first call, English or your own. Open the draft on a phone first to check the script shows properly and that the font does not break.
Occasions recorded only where the family agreed
Naming ceremony, vivaha, griha pravesha: note the occasion and the date the family gave, and note that they allowed a reminder. Skip any occasion the family did not agree to be reminded of.
A signature that is you, and an opt-out
Send under your own name and keep the tone of a letter, not an advertisement. Include a plain unsubscribe line, and treat a request to stop as final.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the email marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your list

We review who is on the list, how they got there, and how long it has been since they last heard from you.

  2. 2

    Audit past sends

We check open and click rates from past emails to see what has and has not worked.

  3. 3

    Segment and plan

The list is split into meaningful groups and a sending calendar is agreed.

  4. 4

    Implement content and automation

Emails are written, scheduled and, where useful, set to trigger automatically based on behaviour.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track performance and adjust subject lines, timing and content based on what the list responds to.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Our families in India only use WhatsApp. Should we mail them too?
Send the confirmation and the receipt by mail and everything else on WhatsApp. Keep the longer notes for families abroad, who read email daily.
Is it acceptable to remind a family about an occasion?
Only if they have agreed to it. Ask once at the end of a consultation, note the answer, and never use a birth date for anything they did not expect.
Can we put predictions or remedies in a bulk email?
Keep bulk mail to confirmations, the panchanga note and booking details. Predictions and remedies belong in a private consultation with that family. Claims about results in mass mail also invite complaints, so check the current rules for advertising such claims.
Is it right to email a family their kundli or reading notes?
Yes, if the family asked for it. Send it from your own address to the person who booked, not through a campaign tool, and do not forward it to anyone else. Keep a copy only as long as the family has agreed.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
