Entertainment portals · Website

Build a portal site that readers enjoy and a planner can buy from.

A website for an entertainment portal serves two visitors: the fan who reads, watches and signs up, and the planner who wants to see what can be bought. GullySales plans the structure, title pages and a plain advertise section so both find what they came for.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What website means

A website is the page a customer lands on after searching, clicking an advert or scanning a code, and it decides whether they call or leave. GullySales builds and maintains sites that load quickly, explain the offer plainly and make the enquiry form or phone number easy to find.

For entertainment portals

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A cluttered page loses the reader and the sponsor”

Pop-ups, auto-play video and stacked banners push readers away and make a sponsor wary of the neighbours their ad will have. A cleaner layout with clear ad slots serves both.

  • “The advertise page is the weakest page on the site”

A planner looking for formats, a rate guide and an audience pack finds a contact form and nothing else. A proper page with the formats, samples and the brand-safety note answers the first questions before a call.

  • “Speed on a mobile network decides the visit”

Readers open a review on a phone while the film is still on their mind. A heavy page with slow images is closed before the first paragraph. Light pages with managed images hold the visitor.

  • “Title and cast pages need to link to each other”

A film page that links to its cast, songs, streaming home and related stories keeps a reader moving. Pages that stand alone send the reader back to search.

What we do

What we deliver for entertainment portals.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A site structure plan

Sections by language and type, with title, cast and calendar pages placed in a clear order.

Result: Editors and readers can find any title in a few steps.

  2. An advertise page for planners

A page with formats, sample placements, audience description and the brand-safety policy.

Result: A planner reads the offer without a phone call.

  3. A release calendar page

A public calendar of coming titles, each linked to its title page and to the alert sign-up.

Result: A reader or a publicist sees the next release at once.

  4. A reader sign-up and follow feature

Forms and buttons for alerts and for following a star or a series.

Result: Readers can ask to hear about a title they care for.

  5. A page-weight and ad-slot review

A check of image sizes, scripts and ad placement on key page types.

Result: Key pages load and show ads in a tidy layout.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the website work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm structure and content

We agree the site's pages and content needs before design begins, drawing on website strategy where it exists.

  2. 2

    Design the site

Every page is designed against your brand identity and checked for how it should convert a visitor.

  3. 3

    Build and test

The site is developed and tested across devices and browsers before anything goes live.

  4. 4

    Load real content

Actual copy, images and information about your business replace placeholder content before launch.

  5. 5

    Launch and hand over access

The site goes live with domain, hosting and content management access clearly handed to you.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a new site?
Not always. GullySales first reviews what you have, since the title pages and the advertise page may be fixed without a rebuild.
Will the site design change our ad income?
Layout affects both reader experience and what a sponsor will pay to sit on the page. GullySales plans slots with your sales head so neither is damaged.
Can you build the site?
GullySales plans the structure and content and works with your developers or an agency on the build. The technical build stays with the people who maintain it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
