Environmental consulting companies · Search engine optimisation

Appear when a promoter searches for the clearance or consent they are stuck on.

SEO for an environmental consultancy means writing pages that match the exact task a promoter or plant head types into a search box, such as an EIA or a consent renewal. GullySales works on page structure, search wording and plain explanations that your technical team reviews before publication.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For environmental consulting companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Searchers use the task, not the firm type”

A plant head types the consent they need renewed or the notice they have received. A page titled environmental services never matches that phrase, whereas a page named for the task does.

  • “A long service list dilutes every page”

One page naming every study from noise to biodiversity says little about any of them. Search engines and promoters both read it as a brochure. One page per task, with a clear first paragraph, serves both.

  • “Rules change, and old pages mislead”

A page that quotes a threshold or a form from a past notification can send a reader the wrong way. Writing in general terms and pointing to the authority for the current position keeps pages safe to leave online.

  • “State and authority names carry search weight”

Promoters look for someone who knows their own state board and clearance authority. Pages that name the authorities you have worked with, in plain wording, meet that search honestly.

What we do

What we deliver for environmental consulting companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A task-by-task page plan

A map of the pages your site needs, one for each clearance, consent, audit and compliance task you take on.

Result: A written list of pages with the search phrase each is built to meet.

  2. Plain-words page copy

Drafts that explain what the task is, who needs it and which papers the client brings, for your team to check for accuracy.

Result: Pages your technical lead has reviewed and signed off before they go live.

  3. Titles and descriptions for each page

Search titles and short descriptions that name the task and the region, written for a reader and not for a robot.

Result: Each page shows a clear title in search results.

  4. Internal links between related tasks

Links from a consent page to the audit page and from the clearance page to the expansion page, so a reader finds the next step.

Result: A reader can move from one task to the next without returning to search.

  5. A site health check

A review of speed, mobile display and broken pages that stop a promoter reaching the enquiry form.

Result: A short list of fixes, each marked done or open.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can we write about new notifications to attract traffic?
Write about what the change means for a plant head in plain words, and point to the authority for the exact text. Do not copy clauses. Your team should review each such page, since rules differ by state and change.
Will SEO bring us projects outside our state?
It can bring enquiries from anywhere, but a clearance depends on the local board and authority. Say plainly which states you work in, so that a distant promoter knows whether you are the right firm.
Do we need a blog?
A few pages that explain one common mistake each are enough to begin. Quality of explanation matters more than the number of posts, and each post should link to the task page it relates to.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
