Event equipment rental · Local SEO

Show up on the map when a family in your town needs tents by Saturday.

Local SEO for an event equipment rental store is the work of ranking in the map results for the towns and localities you deliver to. GullySales works on the Google Business Profile, the areas you serve and the reviews that planners and families leave.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For event equipment rental

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The godown is where the map thinks you are”

Maps places a store at its address, and a godown on the edge of town sits far from the buyers in the centre. The service area, the delivery towns and the listed hours do the work that the pin cannot.

  • “Your delivery reach is wider than your visit reach”

Families will not visit a shop on the far side of the district, but a truck will deliver there. The profile says which towns you deliver to, so a buyer outside the town sees that the answer is yes.

  • “Photographs of real events beat studio shots”

A searcher scrolling the profile wants to see an actual stage, actual chairs and an actual tent set up. A profile with only a logo and a catalogue image reads as a middleman, not a store with stock.

  • “Reviews from planners carry the profile”

A review from a decorator that names the delivery and the condition of items tells the next planner what to expect. A review from a family names the event. Both are asked for at pickup, when the job is fresh.

What we do

What we deliver for event equipment rental.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A verified and completed Business Profile

Name, address, phone, hours, categories and description filled in, using the item names buyers search for.

Result: The profile shows what you hire and when you answer.

  2. Service areas set to delivery reality

The towns and localities you deliver to, entered on the profile and matched on the website.

Result: A buyer outside your town sees the profile lists their town.

  3. Photographs from real events

A set of your own photographs of tents, stages, chairs and setups, shared with permission where people appear.

Result: The profile shows your stock in use, not catalogue images.

  4. A review request at pickup

A short message with the review link, sent to the planner or family after the signed return list.

Result: New reviews come from people who used the items.

  5. Replies to every review

A written reply to each review, including any complaint about damage or a late delivery, handled plainly.

Result: A reader sees a complaint answered in public.

  6. Listings across directories

Matching name, address and phone on the directories planners and families check.

Result: The details are the same everywhere you are listed.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Our godown has no shop front. Can we still be on the map?
A business with a godown and a phone can be listed if it meets the platform's current rules for businesses that serve customers at their location. Check those rules, and set the service area to the towns you deliver to.
Should we list every town we serve?
List the towns you deliver to and can reach on a wedding Saturday. A list longer than your trucks can cover weakens the profile and sends enquiries you cannot fill.
Planners ask for photographs. Can the profile carry them?
Yes. Add photographs of your own tents, stages, tables and chairs, with the item named. A planner on the phone can open the profile and see the stock.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
