Music production companies · Search engine optimisation

Be the studio that appears when someone searches for a composer or a jingle.

SEO for a music production company is the work of making sure your pages answer the searches that come before a commission, such as film composer, jingle makers or recording studio for singers. GullySales works on the pages, the wording and the structure that let a search engine understand what you make and for whom.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For music production companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Searchers describe the job, not the company”

A producer types for a composer for a Kannada film or jingle makers for a regional radio ad. A page titled Home or Studio answers neither. Pages built around the job, the language and the use match the way the commissioner describes the need.

  • “Audio cannot be read by a search engine”

A page that is only a player and a few track names gives the search engine almost no words to work with. Each reel needs a heading, a short description of the mood and brief it answers, and the film or campaign it came from.

  • “One page cannot serve every buyer”

Film scoring, ad music, artist recording and sync licensing attract different searches. When all of them share a single services page, none ranks well and the visitor has to hunt for their own case.

  • “Streaming profiles outrank your own site”

Your tracks on a streaming platform may appear before your studio does. Your own site needs enough substance, such as credits, process and contact routes, that the search engine and the visitor both treat it as the source.

What we do

What we deliver for music production companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Search-term map

A list of the phrases film, advertising, artist and sync buyers use, matched to the page that should answer each.

Result: Each phrase is assigned to one page, so no two pages compete for it.

  2. Service pages by buyer

Separate pages for film and series scoring, jingles and sonic branding, artist production and sync catalogue.

Result: A visitor lands on the page that names their own kind of job.

  3. Reel page copy

Headings, mood descriptions and credit lines written around each sample reel so the page has words as well as audio.

Result: Every reel page has readable text describing what it is for.

  4. Title and description set

Page titles and short descriptions written for the searcher, in plain words.

Result: Each page has its own title and description, and none are repeated.

  5. Credits and name consistency

Your studio name and composers' names written the same way across the site and profiles.

Result: A search for a composer's name returns the same entity every time.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Will SEO put us at the top of the search results?
No ranking can be promised, because search engines weigh numerous factors outside anyone's control. GullySales makes the pages clear, specific and useful so they are eligible for the right searches.
Do we need a blog for SEO?
Not as a rule. Reel pages, service pages and a commission guide carry more weight for a studio than a stream of general posts. Articles help when they answer a question a commissioner really asks.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
