Photography studios · Local SEO

Be the open studio on the map when someone needs photographs by evening.

Local SEO for a photography studio is the work of appearing among the few results on the map when someone nearby searches for a photo studio. GullySales works on the Google profile, the opening hours, the photographs and the review replies that decide who gets the call.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For photography studios

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The urgent customer calls the first studio that is open”

Someone who needs a passport photograph before an appointment looks at the map, sees which studio is open and rings it. A profile showing the wrong hours loses that call to a studio that merely updated its timings.

  • “Old photographs make a profile look closed”

A gallery of pictures from years ago, or a logo with nothing else, makes a visitor doubt the studio is still working. Fresh pictures of the studio, the lights and the reception tell the nearby searcher that the door is open.

  • “Festival days change the real hours”

A studio open late before a festival or closed for a family function loses people who trusted the listing. Special hours entered ahead are the difference between a visit and a wasted trip.

  • “A review with no reply looks unattended”

A customer who read three reviews and no answers from the owner has a clear picture of how complaints are handled. A short, polite reply to each, including the poor ones, is read by the next visitor.

What we do

What we deliver for photography studios.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Profile set up in full

Name, address, services, categories and the booking link set correctly, with each type of sitting listed by its own name.

Result: The profile lists passport photos and portraits as separate services.

  2. Opening hours for festival days

Special hours entered for each holiday and function, with the last sitting time stated.

Result: The map shows the right hours on the days that matter.

  3. A photograph routine

New pictures of the studio and approved sample work added on a set rhythm that suits the staff, with consent checked for every face.

Result: The profile gallery looks current when a visitor opens it.

  4. Replies drafted for each review

A reply in the owner's voice for every review, written for the counter staff to post or edit.

Result: No review sits without an answer.

  5. Direction and call counts read

The profile's own counts of calls, direction requests and website taps, set against the baseline.

Result: You can see whether the listing is sending people to the door.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Does the profile need a photograph of every customer?
No. Use pictures of the studio, the equipment and the work you have clearance to show. A clear shot of the front, so a new customer can spot the door, is a useful picture.
Can we list passport photos and portraits as separate services?
Yes, list each sitting under its own name with a short description. A person searching for one sees it is offered, and the profile reads as a studio that knows what it does.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
