Retail franchise brands · Search engine optimisation

Be the brand a shopper and a shop owner both find when they search.

SEO for a retail franchise brand covers two searches: shoppers looking for the brand's store in their town, and traders looking to open one. GullySales works on the pages, titles and structure that serve each audience without mixing them.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For retail franchise brands

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Two audiences share one website”

A shopper types the brand name and a town. A trader types the brand name and the word franchise. When both land on one crowded home page, neither finds the answer and the site serves neither well.

  • “The brand name is searched with spelling variants”

Shoppers shorten, run together or mis-spell brand names, and franchise candidates add words like dealership or distributorship. Pages that use only the official phrase miss part of what people type.

  • “Store pages thin out when copied”

Giving every town the same paragraph with a changed place name gives search engines nothing to tell stores apart. A page that names the street, the mall or the landmark and the products on the shelf carries more.

  • “Product searches go to marketplaces”

A shopper hunting for a pair of shoes or a kids' jacket lands on a marketplace. The brand's pages win by answering what a marketplace cannot, such as which store near the shopper holds the range.

What we do

What we deliver for retail franchise brands.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Search audit for the brand name

A look at what appears when the brand, the brand plus franchise and the brand plus a town are searched.

Result: A written list of what shows for each search.

  2. Separate franchise and shopper pages

A clear split so that candidates read about the opportunity and shoppers reach the locator.

Result: Two paths from the home page with distinct titles.

  3. Town and store page template

A page layout carrying address, landmark, timings, range and a map, filled in per store.

Result: A template your team can copy for each new store.

  4. Title and description rewrite

Page titles written with the words a searcher uses for the brand and the town.

Result: Titles that differ from page to page.

  5. Internal links from products to stores

Product and range pages linking to the stores that stock them.

Result: A path from a product page to a nearby store.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Will SEO sell franchises?
It brings candidates to a page that answers their questions. Whether they apply depends on your terms and follow-up. We build the page and the path; the outcome is not something we promise.
Should every franchisee get their own website?
No. One strong brand site with a page for each store holds authority better than a scatter of thin sites that the franchisees must each keep up.
Does a new store page appear straight away?
Search engines decide when to list a page, and we cannot control it. We publish the page, link it from the locator and keep the store's Google profile in step.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
