Sheep farms · Content marketing

Write the answers a new unit owner is looking for before they buy a single ewe.

Content marketing for a sheep farm is the set of guides, notes and photographs that answer a buyer's questions before they call. GullySales works on the topics, the plain wording and the pages where those answers live.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For sheep farms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A new unit owner has a long list of questions”

Someone starting with a few ewes asks about breed choice, shed space, feeding and what to check in an animal. A farm that has already written those answers is the one they call for the stock.

  • “The shepherd's knowledge is never written down”

The family knows which breed does well on dry grazing and how to read a ram's frame. That knowledge stays in conversation and never reaches a buyer in another town unless someone writes it.

  • “Advice written like a textbook is not read”

Long pages of general farming advice are passed over. A short note in the regional language, with a photograph from the shed, is the one a buyer forwards to a relative on WhatsApp.

What we do

What we deliver for sheep farms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A list of buyer questions

Questions gathered from calls, visits and WhatsApp, sorted by trader, breeder and wool buyer.

Result: A plain list of what buyers actually ask.

  2. A breed choice note

A short guide for new units on choosing between the breeds you hold, written by the family.

Result: A note a first-time buyer can read before visiting.

  3. A what-to-check-before-buying sheet

Points a buyer can look at in a ram or ewe at the shed, in plain wording and with photographs.

Result: A sheet that earns trust before the first visit.

  4. A festival booking explainer

How early orders work, what is recorded and how delivery is agreed.

Result: Buyers know the routine before they book.

  5. A farm story page

Who runs the farm, how long the flock has been kept and what it sells, stated factually.

Result: A page that tells a stranger who they are buying from.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the content marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Confirm the plan

Topics and formats for the coming month are confirmed against the content strategy.

  2. 2

    Produce and review

Content is written or filmed, then reviewed by someone who knows your trade before it goes out.

  3. 3

    Publish and distribute

Finished content is published to the site and pushed through the channels your buyers actually use.

  4. 4

    Track enquiries

Enquiries are traced back to content where a direct line exists, and reported honestly where it does not.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

We report results and adjust the next topics based on what actually worked.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need to write long articles?
No. A short, clear page on one question is better than a long page on everything. We write with you from what the family already says to buyers.
Can content mention medicines or feed brands?
Keep health and chemical advice general and send readers to a qualified veterinarian. Rules differ by state and body, so check with your own adviser before naming any product or dose.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.
