Videography companies · Search engine optimisation

Get found for the specific film a manager is searching for, not for video in general.

SEO for a videography company is making each kind of work findable by the words a buyer types, such as corporate video production, conference videography or drone shoot, in your city. GullySales works on the pages, the wording and the technical basics that let those searches reach you.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For videography companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers search by need, so a general page matches nothing”

A manager types conference videography or product video for a factory. A site that says we shoot videos of all kinds gives the search engine nothing to match, and a page per kind of work gives it a reason.

  • “A video-heavy site is slow and hides its own words”

Showreels embedded at full weight slow the page, and a hero video with no text leaves nothing to read. The search engine sees little, and a buyer on a phone leaves before the reel plays.

  • “The city is part of the search”

Briefs name the city or the venue. Pages that mention where you have shot, which halls, campuses and plants, match those searches and also tell the coordinator you know the place.

  • “Portfolio pages carry no description”

A grid of thumbnails with titles like Project 14 says nothing about the client type, the brief or the use. Each film needs a few lines on what was asked, what was shot and where it was used.

What we do

What we deliver for videography companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page per kind of work

Separate pages for corporate film, conference coverage, product video, training video and drone shoots, each written for that buyer.

Result: Each service has its own address and its own wording.

  2. Portfolio entries with a brief and a use

A short description for each film: who commissioned it, what it was for, how many cameras and where it was shown.

Result: Thumbnails turn into pages a search can read.

  3. Page speed fixes for video

Reels loaded on click, thumbnails sized for phones and a text introduction above the video.

Result: The page opens quickly on a mobile connection.

  4. Venue and city wording

Mentions of the halls, campuses and plants you have shot in, written as plain facts on the relevant pages.

Result: A search naming a venue can reach a page that names it.

  5. A search tracking set-up

Search Console and an enquiry count linked to the pages, set against the starting position.

Result: You can see which pages bring briefs.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Does embedding videos help ranking?
Not by itself. Text on the page, clear headings and fast loading carry the ranking work, so the video should sit under a written description and load only when the visitor presses play.
Should we write blog posts?
Write them where a buyer asks a real question, such as what a conference video includes or how a revision round works. Posts that only repeat service pages add nothing, so each one answers a question a client has asked you.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
