Water testing laboratories · Search engine optimisation

Rank for the test the buyer types, not for the word laboratory.

SEO for a water testing laboratory is the work of making each test, each sample type and each report format findable by the person who needs it. GullySales works on the test pages, the scope of accreditation and the search terms buyers actually type.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Environmental testing laboratories: show a real physical business scene illustrating Sampling requests and field schedules. Plan sampling rounds by client, site and matrix, assign field staff, and prepare the bottle sets and preservatives needed for each visit before the vehicle leaves.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For water testing laboratories

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Buyers search for a test, not a lab”

A quality manager types the parameter or the report name. A household types water test for borewell or drinking water test near me. A single page titled water testing lab matches none of those, so each test needs its own page.

  • “Accreditation is a search term and a trust check”

Buyers add the accreditation body to the search because a report must be accepted by an auditor or a board. A page that lists the certificate and its scope answers the search and the doubt in one place.

  • “Thin pages copy each other”

Lab sites repeat the same list of parameters from a standard. Search engines see near-identical pages. A page that explains sample collection, container type and what the report looks like says something the others do not.

What we do

What we deliver for water testing laboratories.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each test and sample type

Drinking water, packaged water, borewell, effluent, boiler, pool and construction water, each with its parameters, container and report format.

Result: Each search phrase has a page built to answer it.

  2. A scope-of-accreditation page

The certificate, validity and tests covered, laid out as a readable table with a note on tests outside it.

Result: A quality manager checks the scope without writing to you.

  3. Titles and descriptions written for each page

Page titles that name the test and the trade, checked against how the results appear.

Result: Search results show the test name, not a generic lab title.

  4. A sample collection guide

A plain page on how to fill the bottle, how to label it and what to avoid, linked from every test page.

Result: Buyers and search engines both find a useful page, not a sales one.

  5. Search tracking set up

Search Console and analytics connected so you see which test pages bring visits.

Result: You can check which pages are read and which are ignored.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a separate page for every test?
Each distinct buyer need deserves its own page. A bottling plant and a borewell owner want different reports, so they should not share one. Very small variations can sit on the same page as sections.
Can SEO promise us a first-page ranking?
No one can promise a ranking, and we do not. We build pages that answer the search properly and fix what holds them back. Your Search Console figures show what the pages earn once they are live.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
